Hello there, ladies and gents!

Keeping in line with all the fun and interactive threads asking about your most recent halls, items you have your eyes on, what you're currently wearing, what's your hair routine, and more, I've decide to branch out and ask:

"What's on your plate?"

The beauty world doesn't just stop at skin care and cosmetics, it also goes hand in hand with your overall health and well-being, so with that, I'm curious to see what we're all chowing down and snacking on be it for breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, or inbetween!

For those with apps that help count calories or to those who just want to keep a log, here's a place to share, possibly find and share some recipes, and even tips on maintaining a balanced diet.

Don't just share food items, but even drinks! I'm a huge fan of tea and at least have a cup of green tea a day (anti-oxidants) and drink plenty of water.

For lunch today, I had:

-Brown rice

-Steamed egg

-Steamed red snapper with green onion, sesame oil, and black pepper

-Gai lan (it's a type of Chinese vegetable/greens)

Now, tell me, Beauty Talk world, what do you have? 😄

Another 2 licorice obsessions that I just felt in love with 🖤: Tabu candies, sold in metal tins (these are italians) and Brooklyn gums 🤤

@Skunk12puzzola  We also have those licorice candies in tin cans in Spain (or similar). My father used to buy them often and my sister and I loved to open and close them (well, and to play with the candies inside too! 😅) He hasn’t purchased them in a while though.

@Ispend2much6 aren't brooklyn gums popular in the US? we have so many flavors here!! I also bought the sweet mint ones.

@Skunk12puzzola. You're not going to believe this but it's actually an Italian product! Some Italian grocery stores in the US have started importing them from Italy!

No way @Ispend2much6!! I thought these gums were actually americans haha 😂 my parents are from the '60 ish....and they told me that these gums were so popular back then. But, they both agree on something: the cinnamon ones are terrible 😂😂 both of them likes the strong mint ones, I prefer licorice/sweet mint ones.

I always seems to be too hungry to take a picture. I always think 🤔 I need to take a picture of dinner tonight. Then when dinner is ready my mind goes blank. I managed to take a picture of leftovers. What's on the menu tonight? Sausage filled tortellini bake with cheese 🧀. What is missing? Vegetables. I didn't make dinner tonight. However, I enjoyed it!

@Ispend2much6 Thanks. I wonder what olives are considered? I am missing those also. I need to take a trip to a specialty grocery store to pick some up.

Dinner tonight:  pappardelle with beef, carrot, and zucchini bolognese, olives, parmigiano reggiano with balsamico. 

The pappardelle did not want to behave to be plated prettily- it reminds me of my hair.

My favorite for drizzling.

Oh good @Ispend2much6 🥰🥰🥰.  I am going to see about making pappardelle.  We never have and neither did my family nor my in law’s.  Looking forward to a new pasta!! Your bolognese sauce sounds yummy too!!
