Hello there, ladies and gents!
Keeping in line with all the fun and interactive threads asking about your most recent halls, items you have your eyes on, what you're currently wearing, what's your hair routine, and more, I've decide to branch out and ask:
"What's on your plate?"
The beauty world doesn't just stop at skin care and cosmetics, it also goes hand in hand with your overall health and well-being, so with that, I'm curious to see what we're all chowing down and snacking on be it for breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, or inbetween!
For those with apps that help count calories or to those who just want to keep a log, here's a place to share, possibly find and share some recipes, and even tips on maintaining a balanced diet.
Don't just share food items, but even drinks! I'm a huge fan of tea and at least have a cup of green tea a day (anti-oxidants) and drink plenty of water.
For lunch today, I had:
-Brown rice
-Steamed egg
-Steamed red snapper with green onion, sesame oil, and black pepper
-Gai lan (it's a type of Chinese vegetable/greens)
Now, tell me, Beauty Talk world, what do you have? 😄
I submit a 'what's in your glass' category 😄
Pumpkin spice martini. Delicious. No regrets.
Ooooo, that looks delish and that glass looks so swanky!
I love my martini glasses! Best thrift store find ever.
Thrift store???? Even better! It's so chic and the color compliments the drink shade very well! You should design a make up look inspired by the colors!
Haha, maybe, as soon as those TF mini lippies come out! Some of those golden/coppery ones would be perfect for that!
Do it!!!!!!!! ^_^
Pumpkin spice everything! That looks yummy.
I've got a lovely bunch of...pomegranates...
There they are, all standing in a row....
Big ones, small ones, some as big as your head
From the local farmer's market...
Wow!!!!
I decided to read your "Wow" and add "ee" at the end like how the Sheriff of Rottingham says it from Robin Hood: Men In Tights....WOWEE!!!!
This has been the best, most beautiful grenade I have ever had...ever.
It was so sweet and the little "kernels" were so juicy.
I really wish I could share such a beauty with those who appreciate yummy poms..
nom nom nom nom nom
Oh gosh Evangeline! Food porn!
I'm going to fall over.
Oh my god....Becky...look at that POM! 😛
Ha ha ha ha ha
I frikkin' love those memes!
I've never had sweet pomegranates. Can I have some tips on how to pick pomegranates to buy?
1. Weight, make sure your pomegranate feels heavy like it has some substance
2. Color, the shade won't necessarily be too much of a give away all the time, but make sure that the color is rich and even as much as possible
3. Skin, make sure there's no gashes, bruises, or puckering/looseness
Then...NOM THE POM!
The "skin" is pretty thick, so make sure that any scarring/gashes/et cetera you see is only on the surface.
O_O
Errrrmahhhhhgawdddddd LOOK AT DAT!!!!!
Wow...even your pomegranate picking knowledge is amazing, IyIysa...
And when you look up nom the pom, you find this really cute guy..
....just had to share.
Awwwwwww, finger nibblezzzzzz!!!!!!!
