What companies have you gotten samples from?

I just wanna ask what companies give out free samples when you contact them. I only know of Mario Badescu and L'occitane. Smiley Happy

Who doesn't love free samples anyway? Smiley Happy

Re: What companies have you gotten samples from?

Someone in the thread earlier got big deluxe sized products from Nia! Funny how we all get different things Smiley Happy

Re: What companies have you gotten samples from?

It really has to be who gets the email and who stuffs the samples.

Re: What companies have you gotten samples from?

So i'm looking for a new skincare routine... i contacted Murad, and this is the response i got...

"We are happy to hear of your interest into Murad products. At this point in time, we unfortunately only send samples with an order. I know it can be tough to take a plunge with something new, but if you do please keep in mind we offer a 60 day money back guarantee on the products + taxes even if the products are used to the end"

They only send samples along with orders huh? This thread proves otherwise lol

Re: What companies have you gotten samples from?

Yeah, I've seriously conspired pointing that out. Hourglass has irritated me more than anything. It was a brand I was eager to try and now I kind of don't even want to do business with them. I could care less if I get four foil samples and someone else gets deluxe tubes. I just want to try it. I have yet to find an amazing liquid foundation and thought they would be a good option. With sensitive skin I don't put anything on it without testing it first. I could go to Sephora but it's about an hour away and I hate going all that way only to ask for a sample and not even buy anything. Not all the samples I have got I am going to run out and buy. However there have been a few I definitely want to purchase and I would have never of known that without trying them first.

Re: What companies have you gotten samples from?

I feel the same way about Hourglass myself.  And foundation you really do have to try and see how the color wears on you all day to see which color might be right.  One that looks like a match right away in the store could be totally off later in the day.  And it's not like I can go in and say 'can you give me a sample of color A, color B, and color C so I can see which one is right for me?  And, no, I don't want to buy anything."

Re: What companies have you gotten samples from?

@FireSpinner I was thinking about this & I wonder if it is because you are in Canada.  I just got my samples from Murad last month & after I got my yes response, my BFF sent a sample request & got some too.

Re: What companies have you gotten samples from?

"even if the products are used to the end"

Does this mean that you can fully use up a product and still get money back? I feel like that is either an amazing return policy (and terrible corporate practice) or horrible wording on their part.

Re: What companies have you gotten samples from?

I contacted them and am receiving samples...that person must have had the wrong script up Smiley Wink

Re: What companies have you gotten samples from?

Here's the samples I received recently including the lipstick sample from Clarins!!!

Clarins, L'Occitane, Anne Semonin (they shipped to me from Paris!), and John Masters Organics.

I got a new yes from Reviva.

Re: What companies have you gotten samples from?

Oh wow- Clarins has given you quite a few great samples! I'm so thrilled to hear that they give them out; I love their skincare products.
