We're blabbing about everything else these days, I figured I'd check in and see what people are watching when it comes to TV shows and movies!

It would be foolish to think that this thread could remain spoiler free, so let's be courteous to one another and be sure to spoiler your spoilers. If you don't know how, it's that super adorable little yellow button on the toolbar, located to the right of the bold/italic/underline/strikeout buttons. 

DONT FORGET: If you happen to be the most recent post, your first sentence or two of your post will show up EVEN IF ITS IN A SPOILER. So please take care if you're going to go dropping spoiler bombs. 

Anywho... I just saw the movie PHOENIX last night and it was absolutely spectacular. Like Academy Award spectacular. If you're fortunate enough have showings in your area, I cannot urge you enough to go see it.

We are watching Walking Dead Daryl Dixon. So far so good.

I’m rewatching Castlevania since the spinoff is coming soon. It’s so good. I’m anxiously awaiting the new series. I also can’t wait to watch Generation V, which is a The Boys spinoff. I need to catch up on The Wheel of Time next. I’ve also been watching Usokon, which is a super cute Japanese show, and My Happy Marriage, which is surprisingly good. I was watching From Me to You but quit it before the last 2 episodes, it was dragging a little too long for me.

I just finishee watching the second season of the show 'Bear' on Disney Plus. It is soooo good.

Caught up watching The Summer I Turned Pretty and finished all three books in 6 days.  There are differences from the show and the books.

I am watching the new season of Black Mirror.

@Mellmars1185  I finished season 6 last week and was left missing most of the thought provoking psych-thriller aspect I expect from Black Mirror. Mazey Day and Joan Is Awful got the closest to that for me. Beyond the Sea almost got there… I think I need to rewatch it to make myself look past an aspect I wish the episode had explored a bit further. Loch Henry and Demon 79 were too straightforward horror—though the latter was a fun throwback to some of the ridiculous campy ‘70s horror I remember. Eh, I didn’t dislike either episode. 

That season made me wanna rewatch older seasons, which I’ll probably do this week.

@WinglessOne I'm curious what aspect of Beyond the Sea you wish had been explored more.

I keep singing the Ra-Ra-Rasputin from Boney M.  I need to listen to the whole song, as I've never heard it before.   Very catchy but also an interesting historical figure!

@WinglessOne  I know what you mean. This season is not what I expected. But I guess that is what the show is. It pushes tv boundaries. I feel like it went in a different direction. Maybe different writers? I should look into that...

@Mellmars1185 I started the newest season (I watched most of the episodes from the other seasons).  I thought Mazey Day was all right - the ending seemed cheesy 🧀 but it was unexpected so I guess it was good.  Beyond the Sea and Loch Henry were good albeit dark.  😱 I didn't care for Demon 79.  I didn't think it went anywhere.
