We're blabbing about everything else these days, I figured I'd check in and see what people are watching when it comes to TV shows and movies!

It would be foolish to think that this thread could remain spoiler free, so let's be courteous to one another and be sure to spoiler your spoilers. If you don't know how, it's that super adorable little yellow button on the toolbar, located to the right of the bold/italic/underline/strikeout buttons.

Anywho... I just saw the movie PHOENIX last night and it was absolutely spectacular. Like Academy Award spectacular. If you're fortunate enough have showings in your area, I cannot urge you enough to go see it.

A friend on BIC recommended "The Bear" to me.  The show has a huge following, so maybe that says something.  It's a drama, set in Chicago.  "The Bear" has rough language and took a couple of episodes for me to get into, but then I was hooked.  "Yes, Chef!"

I do like shows about chefs and restaurants, though.  Season one is on Hulu.

@Sunnysmom, well done? Love the pun; fits right into the show. I read up a little on it after @tsavorite mentioned it. I'll add it to the list. I don't watch a lot of TV but it is definitely helpful to have a list of recommendations when I feel in the mood to watch something. From what I read, The Bear does seem like it's saucy. 🤣

I'm pretty sure that @Sunnysmom will agree that you should give "The Bear" a chance, because:  Jeremey Allen White!  (He's that good!) 

Also very good: Ayo Edebiri.  I like her a lot.

Watch for Molly Ringwald!  It was so fun to see her pop up in this show.

I usually hate reality dating shows, especially when they focus on drama, betrayal, backstabbing, cheating. I know some people love it, but I find it unrelatable and I tune out quickly. I recently came across a Korean show called Heart Signal on the Viki app. Its a dating show but I would say it’s the antithesis to most dating shows. You just get to watch people meet and see budding romances on screen. It’s incredibly cute! If you’ve seen the Japanese show, Terrace House, on Netflix, it’s really similar. If you decide to check out, be warned: some episodes reach 90 minutes long.

How is The Last of Us @Mellmars1185? I’m not really into zombie shows, but part of me wants to check it out just to show some support to my hometown where it was filmed. One of my friends got to work on set as an extra.

@JoSometimes Ohhh cool! Where was it filmed if you dont mind me asking? I am not the biggest Zombie fan either. I do like the show though. I get scared easily so sometimes I cover my eyes. The show has a good story line to it and it is not all zombies all the time. My fiance just borrowed the game from his friend.

@Mellmars1185 It was filmed in and around Calgary, Alberta, Canada 🇨🇦! I read an article saying the producers like the city because they found everything needed in one place. A downtown core with tall buildings, bridges and overpasses, places that had small town vibes, and mountain wilderness just an hour outside of the city.

I LOVE SOOOO MANY DIFFERENT SHOWS.  House of the dragons, Emily in Paris, Wednesday, the white lotus, Derry girls they are all so good. But I’m currently watching The last of us on HBO because I loved the video gameplay from Pewdiepie years ago! I wish they pre made season if they were this good and just had a group of people watch it to make sure it would do well.

Loving Accused on Fox.  If you love legal dramas this is the show to watch.    Great stories that keep you glued to the set.   You never know how it will turn out.
