What are some of your favorite beauty moments from movies/TV?

All of mine stem from things I saw as a child:

I loved it when Elizabeth Taylor wrote "No Sale" in lipstick on a mirror in "Butterfield 8"

And Bette Davis's crazy makeup in "Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?"

I always loved Homer Simpson's invention of the "makeup gun"

And I still want that machine that did Judy Jetson's hair on "The Jetsons."  I couldn't find a pic.

Loved this moment from The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina on Netflix. It's a creepy show but still Sabrina is still that loveable, sweet witch we all know from the old series. 

I also LOVE The Weird Sisters. Especially Prudence!

OMG YES! I loved the dark looks from The Weird Sisters, especially Prudence Night's hair, which is so unique.

10/10 Negasonic Teenage Warhead's look from the Deadpool movies...

Especially deadpool 2... The hair, and the lipstick, and the eyebrows oof it is perfect. Also I love Yukio's hair lol

These are what made me realize I like girls lol and I always aspire to have that same level of awesome as Negasonic. 

(As my sister one said, I do not wear makeup for men. I wear makeup to confuse women.)

But yeah I have always wished I could pull of this vibe

This is a fun thread! One of my favorite movie moments was when Cher and Dionne tried to give Ms. Geist a quick makeover. It was so cute!

OMG, the Simpsons makeup gun! "Homer, you've got it set on 'wh***'!" Classic. Two moments immediately spring to mind for me:

1) Tai's makeover in Clueless. 11 year-old me wanted chic friends - and a closet - like that. 

2) The pilot episode of Insecure, when Issa tries on lipstick and her persona changes to match each shade. Lipstick really does have transformative powers!

I couldn’t find a picture of the particular scene, but I loved when Andie was getting ready for school at the beginning of Pretty In Pink. Also, Prince’s eyes, hair, outfits in Purple Rain absolutely killed me. These two movies were definitely very salient beauty movie moments for me.
