Wedding Advent Calendar Help

Hey ladies, I need some help. I'm putting together an advent calendar for my best friend where she will open a gift once a week. I have 12 weeks to fill and would appreciate any ideas. I know the groom well too, so I'm going to add some things for him as well but any recommendations for her, him or them as a couple is very much appreciated.

She's a little tom-boyish and not one to really pamper herself. Really into Star Wars and her wedding is galaxy themed. She's Jewish, so if anyone knows of a related item I can add, that would be great.

This is what I have so far:

• Ring Dish
• Jordan Almonds
• Face Masks
• Advil, mints
• Province Apothecary Oil
• Nail Polish & Hand Cream
• Bath Salts
• Tazo Tea
• Bite Lip Mask
• Bottle of Gin/bubbly

I don't really love all my ideas so would appreciate any and all advice.

@Aaliaa Great idea!  I hadn't even thought about that!  If you are looking to go all out, I rec getting her/him pencils or markers to go with it.  I love when people think that whole gift out.  I did that for my sister and she thought it was cute.

That’s such a great idea! I don’t know why this was the first thing that came to my mind but what about those $1 scratch lottery tickets? They’re always my favourite and who knows, maybe they can win enough to pay for their honeymoon. They would work for a gift to the groom too.

You could also find some things to go along with the “something new, something blue” rhyme. Even if she already has some, it’s still fun to play along. 

I also loved watching “wedding” movies before I got married. Father of the Bride is a classic and a DVD copy with some popcorn would make a great gift for them to share as well.

Oh my god, wedding movies!! I love this. She lives in another city, so I might make this the first present so we can watch it together when I go for her bachelorette. Thanks @Lucki1!!

I forgot how many great wedding movies there are too @SpaceLlama @Aaliaa! And how could I forget Bridesmaids?!? I feel like I might need a little wedding themed movie marathon myself lol.

One of my favourite wedding movies is 'My Best Friends Wedding' but since she's trying to break up the wedding I dunno if thats the best idea. My friend will see the humour in it so I think its going to be between that and Bridesmaids. Oh, or Father of the Bride. I've seen that at least 5 times!!

That's so sweet of you to make, @Aaliaa! Would some sugarfina treats be a good idea? Or maybe something from Lush? The mother's day collection items are beautiful. They also have massage bars or bath melts that are lovely 😄 Maybe something for her hair would be lovely like dry shampoo, hairspray or a hair treatment depending on how she likes to upkeep her hair.

That's a super sweet and thoughtful idea @Aaliaa! 

If she has a scent that she likes or is interested in trying, maybe a rollerball or travel spray.  Also, if it's wedding themed, a small handbag or wristlet to keep essentials in is a bridal must, and you can also compile a collection of DSs or mini sized makeup "fixers" like a mini mascara, a lipstick or balm, blotting papers, etc. that she can keep at her table during the reception.
