Under 5 Challenge

I want to see if you can do a makeup look with less than 5 products... I'll upload a picture of mine once my camera starts working again!

Here's what I used:

- bareMinerals Multi-Tasking Face in Bisque... it matches my winter (aka pale lol) skin pretty well. I blended it out a little so you couldn't even tell it was there, without anything over it!

- Benefit Cosmetics Hoola bronzer. I used it as blush, and also all over... Lightly on my entire face and extra on the apples of my cheeks. It helps my face from looking like its washed out.

- Urban Decay eyeshadow in Sin. It brightens up my eyes and adds a little shimmer to my makeup look.

- Benefit Cosmetics BadGal Brown mascara. I used 3 coats and it made my lashes look great! And they tood out in a good way. 🙂

- Clinique Blended Powder in Transperency Neutral. It sets my makeup and keeps my face non-shiny.

xoxo, Charlotte

Re: Under 5 Challenge

I gave the challenge a try this morning.  Here are the results:

1. TheBalm TimeBalm concealer in light

2.UDPP in Original

3. Urban Decay eyeshadow in Maui Wowie  I actually used just one eyeshadow! lol

4. Flirt! Brow gel

5. Flirt! Glamourazzi Lip Lacquer in Pop Star

Does perfume count?  I used my Kat Von D Saint rollerball.  Can I at least get an E for effort? lol

Wearing braids gives my curls a rest from hair products lol.

Proof that I only wore 1 eyeshadow.  It's a miracle! lol

GREAT challenge!

I managed to do this today without even realizing it 🙂

Today I have on

1. Urban Decay Lush Lash Mascara

2. Korres Pressed Powder

3. Lancome Oil Free Self Tan (does this count?)

4. Sephora Collection Rosy Frivol lipstick

5. The Balm blush

Luv&Lipgloss, Diana

Re: Under 5 Challenge

My must haves:

1. Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer in Porcelain

2. Clinique Long Last Glosswear in Bonfire

3. UD Potion Primer in Sin

4. Chanel Eclat Lumiere

5. Clinique High Impact Curling Mascara

Re: Under 5 Challenge

Great question!

After skin treatments and sunscreen:

1) Urban Decay Shadow Vanilla from the 15th Anniversary palette. (My Naked 2 shipped today, can hardly wait to try all the nice light shadows in it!)

2) MAC Fluidline in Rich Ground

3) Too Faced Pink Leopard blush/bronzer in one

4) Fairy Drops Scandal Queen Mascara

5) Fresh Lip Treatment in Rose

My skin is behaving lately, so I don't need concealer or foundation, somewhat typical for winter skin for me. I think the heat/humidity/pollen drives it nuts in the warmer months.

Re: Under 5 Challenge

What a fun post! I tried using less than 5 products today.

5. Clinique HIgh Impact

Re: Under 5 Challenge

I also tried using five products today:

1. Urban Decay Surreal Skin Mineral Makeup

2. Tarte Gifted Amazonian Clay Smart Mascara ( 3-4 coats for a bolder look)

3. Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush in Amused (used on my cheeks and eyes)

4. Urban Decay Baked Bronzer (used on my cheeks and also mixed it with the tarte blush on my eyes)

Cheers,

Tiffany

Re: Under 5 Challenge

I had to do this today out of necessity -- while I normally roll in to work a few minutes late, I was running about 20 behind this morning. Eek! Other than sunscreen, skincare, etc., these are my must haves:

1. Powder to even out skin tone;

2. Eyeliner;

3. Mascara;

4. Blush; and

5. Concealer.

To pare it down further, I would leave the house wearing powder, eyeliner and mascara...and if it had to be only *one* item, eyeliner.

To be more specific, this is what I used -- it was pretty natural looking with only the bare minimum effort required:

1. NARS Pressed powder in Snow;

2. Make Up For Ever Aqua Eyes in 0L (black);

3. La Roche-Posay Respectissime Extension mascara;

4. Chantecaille Cheek Shade in Winter Bloom (this line of blush is so sheer it's almost impossible to overapply, unlike my other favorites (NARS) -- it brightens the complexion;

5. NARS concealer in Chantilly.

I think I threw on lip gloss, too...but if I *had* to eliminate something, lip gloss would be it.

🙂

Re: Under 5 Challenge

1. Too Faced Primed & Poreless Primer

2. Too Faced Snow Bunny Bronzer (subtle enough to use as an all-around glow

3. Benefit CoraLista

4. Korres Mascara

5. Buxom Lips in Sugar

BAM! 🙂

Re: Under 5 Challenge

Wow Charlotte! What a challenge! You did great! 🙂

Geez, I could only think of using: a Tinted Moisturizer, Blush, Eye shadow then apply the same eye shadow wet as a liner?, Mascara and a really pigmented Lip Gloss or lustre lip stick. I'll get back to you when I do the challenge!
