So it looks like unicorn mail is taking over the Party Thread.  A while back @Mcakes suggested to me that it should have it's own thread. I also saw a few people mention it too since then.  Well I think it's time because the love is overflowing and everyone likes to see an unboxing! I know it's one of my favorite parts of BT.

Unicorn Mail: A random act of kindness. Essentially a gift/token of appreciation/pick me up/treat received from a fellow member of the community.

Hi @Carmenatty! As I said before these are just people sending each other surprise mail. It's not an exchange. More of a random act of kindness between friends. 🙂

@Carmenatty  well if you want to send someone something you would ask for their address via pm. Some of us have known each other for a long time now so we have each other's addresses... but the best way is to ask the person directly. Not everyone will share their information though. Remember this is the internet and we are all essentially strangers. Some like their privacy so we have to respect that. 🙂

I got the sweetest gift from the lovely @angel7594 a few weeks ago, and haven’t had the chance to post it until now! 

We were both becoming more active in the community around the same time a few years ago, and traded our first items with each other. Since then, we’ve exchanged so many laughs and of course plenty of gifts! We have similar taste which can be dangerous (I.e. one for you, one for me 😂). Very thankful for this community and the amazing friendships I’ve made 💗
