So it looks like unicorn mail is taking over the Party Thread.  A while back @Mcakes suggested to me that it should have it's own thread. I also saw a few people mention it too since then.  Well I think it's time because the love is overflowing and everyone likes to see an unboxing! I know it's one of my favorite parts of BT.

Unicorn Mail: A random act of kindness. Essentially a gift/token of appreciation/pick me up/treat received from a fellow member of the community.

Hi!!! Ive been part of the community a while but had no idsa about this part of it! Id love to join. How do i sign up fkr the unicorn mail to give and receive?!

@haysley   I believe the first few addresses I shared and received were me sharing samples with people who had expressed interest in trying deluxe samples they had missed out on.  I’ve also sent products to people who couldn’t get a hold of certain items at their location.  It tends to happen organically after months to years of chatting with other members and they start to feel like family and become family.

previous gift exchanges or have asked others for their address.

It’s been a rough year and this really put a smile on my face. @SportyGirly125  Oh gosh you’re so welcome!  Ha, the amount of guilt I’ve felt all year (it has been purposely been  placed in various ‘in-the-way’places around the house for that long!  😆🫣.  I can’t with myself!!  
I was most excited to get the warming Pattern masks out to you since they went and discontinued them!

What is this group about how does it work?

@jennic1987  This group is for members to share any special gestures sent by other members of the community.  It’s called unicorn mail because it tends to be rare, in our adult lives, to receive mail that not a bill or that we didn’t purchase ourselves.   

If we bond with a community member a lot of us may want to send them something we know they’ve been looking for, something to cheer them up if they’re having a difficult time, sometimes just a surprise we know they’ll like. We do local snack trades here as well.  It can even be as simple as a hello card to put a smile on their face.   This thread spreads the love and makes the other members  smile to see the generousity and love around them:)
