Happy end of daylight savings time everyone! Hopefully you enjoyed an extra hour of sleep today and may your day not be totally thrown off tomorrow. 

DST: Letting most of North America experience all of the jet lag with none of the jet. 🚫✈️

@JoSometimes  accurate cartoon is accurate. I hate this switching back and forth so much. I wish they would just pick one time and let us stick with it! I felt so jet lagged all day today (I don't know why, bc technically I did get an extra hour of sleep yesterday, at least in theory. But the whole day was a wash 😓)

Agreed @caitbird! In the travel world, they say it takes an average of one day per time zone crossed to get used to a new time zone. The change from DST to standard time is like crossing one time zone, so I’m not surprised my day today has been off. Tomorrow should be better.

Lots of people everywhere (not you, not us) seem confused about the terms. (example: my local TV station commentators).

Daylight Savings Time ended on Sunday, November 5. ⏰  We changed from Daylight Savings Time to Standard Time today.  🕰 

Daylight Savings Time starts in March.

( Year after year, it is proposed that our legislatures pass a law so that we will stay permanently in Daylight Savings Time, year-round. 

We would no longer change the clocks twice a year, if that happens.)   🎈

@tsavorite The same talk has been floated around here year after year but they won’t do it unless all the neighbouring provinces and states agree. Someone needs to get these premiers and governors together on a zoom call so they can all agree!

It’s so confusing. They should really just get rid of it now that technology lets us light up streets no problem. There’s one province here that doesn’t subscribe to DST and they get along just fine!

I t does seem a bit silly but I did actually appreciate having the sun up this morning though! I’ve been trying to get the sunlight on my eyes when I first wake up, so this makes it easier. @JoSometimes 💜💜

I ranked up to BOSS V! As I say every time, that took FOREVER, haha! It was a couple weeks ago, but I just remembered to share it. I can’t believe there’s still 10 levels to go but they’ll probably change it again anyway before I get to HOF again!
