So excited!  I had no idea that giraffes gestated that long - glad the baby is finally here!

The mama is so sweet at mothering her, too.  I saw a video of another giraffe that gave birth, and that one must have been a first-timer because she just stared at it like, "What in the world are you?"  lol

i missed the live feed too @Ispend2much6but i did watch the video! april is such a good mama!! i am obsessed with the baby hippo fiona at the cincinnati zoo, and i have a feeling this giraffe will steal my heart as well! ❤️
