Spilled nail polish remover on bed covers...just wash?

Anything special I need to do if I spilled nail polish remover on my bed spread? It's the kind with acetone (not the non-acetone kind).

Whew..odor is pretty strong.  These are Sheex brand sheets so not something cheap I could just throw away and not mind.

Use something like flour or even baking soda to absorb some of the oils and chemicals before you wash it.  Also, don't dry them if the stain is still present, you'll set it in, plus it's also a bit flammable.

Thanks for the quick reply - thankfully these sheets are off white in color.

No problem, just make sure you let the powder set for a couple hours to really let it absorb the chemicals!  🙂

My mom said oxyclean may help with the stain as well.
