Hello BIC beauties! 😊 I realized we don't have an active music thread here in BIC (there seem to be a few different short-lived threads from years past, but nothing recent as far as I could find), and I thought it would be fun to have a place to recommend our favorite artists and songs, chat about what we've been listening to lately, post our song of the day or anything else music related! Everyone is welcome to join in however you like, however often you like, and all types of music are welcome! 💜

@itsfi  wow, thank you so much for sharing all your thoughts and insights, you've definitely given me a lot to think about! I feel like I have a tendency to overcommit and include too many items and goals in my projects, and then a lot of them carry over into the next year...but on the other hand, I do find it helpful to use the pan it project to keep track of my overall goals and keep myself accountable with my progress. So I guess I will try to assess what has worked and what didn't this year (and last), and tweak my plans for next year's project accordingly. And I will try to take your advice and compare your strategies to my current plans to see what might work better with some adjustment - thank you again! 💜

@itsfi  you know, I still have never seen Home Alone...I know of it through cultural osmosis, but haven't actually watched it myself. I guess it's on the never-ending list of "movies to see...someday" 😅

@CynthieLu  when I was a kid I liked The First Noel, I think. Now one of my favorites is 'Zat You, Santa Clause? by Louis Armstrong, it's so fun!

@caitbird  so hard to pick a song of the day but  my song of the day is  Sailing by Christopher Cross such a beautiful zen ballad  also I love his song Ride Like The Wind...

I haven't heard Don't Pay The Ferryman in forever ..such a rare gem by Chris Deburgh ...   @Titian06 

I also like  the song Solsbury Hill by Peter Gabriel ...  also I like  Dua Lipa she's not only a talented singer/actress she's also the face of YSL ads for the Libre scent and the loveshine lipstick.. love her song Houdini 🎵..

Ooopsie, @CocoLancome28 !  You're right!  I had the wrong Chris! 😆  Thanks for straightening me out.  I'm not familiar with Dua Lipa, but a few people have mentioned her.  I'm going to have to take a listen!

Peter Gabriel!  Yes!  Love his music!  I first heard him when he was with Genesis.  Another great band...and Phil Collins could sing the phone book! **sigh**

Thank you for starting this thread @caitbird 🙏 I'm kinda excited to share some music with everyone. Maybe it's not to everyone's taste buttttt..

Being that it's December I've got Christmas music on my mind. One I like a lot is Fairytale of New York by the Pouges. There's been a lot of covers of this song, a beautiful one I stumbled across was by Walk Of The Earth. It's not so raw and it's a little more easy listening than the original, thou I still like that one best. ❄️
