I love going on walks and if I'm lucky taking a few photos while I'm lost in nature. 🏞🌎🌺 Does anyone else enjoy that?
These are some of the views from a little walk today.
Feel free to share any photos you take out waking in the beautiful fresh air and sun shine 💚💙
I'd love to see what nature you see 👀 😀
It was @curlychiquita I couldn't stick around to be fascinated thou. Lol. It was kinda alarming and inspiring to look at. 🙀
@CynthieLu I'm curious- what time of day was this photo taken? I guess bats have to "hang out" somewhere during the day, but I never noticed them in trees before. But again, that's where they all seem to fly from at dusk. We have tiny bats, but lots of them. Great photo!
This was around 1 or 2 in the afternoon. I have seen them during the day in trees, buildings etc.. hanging out on walls or corners of buildings and crooks and crannies etc.. but never have I seen big ones and so many of them just chilling like this here in my little corner of Ontario. But I know when I visited Vermont in cottage country they were everywhere, and thankfully because they definitely helped with the bugs. 😁 @Ispend2much6
Looking at our garden this year, I don't think ours eat bugs @CynthieLu lol
😂 @Ispend2much6 lol!
I think it's the mosquito's they tend to devour here and at the cottage. Bless thier tiny souls for the favour! 🦇
so cool! @CynthieLu In Costa Rica, there's this species of bat that will knaw on the middle of large leaves to make the sides fold over and the sleep under it. They're called tent-making bats and they're adorable!
Oooh they do sound adorable @makeitup305 but still, from a respectable distance. 😉 ❤️
They would scare me too. But that is so cool! I also would take photos @CynthieLu
That was exactly me, photo as I run away lol. 🤣🫥 @CorgiMommy
Went on a wild moose chase! Just kidding never approach a moose as they are unpredictable. These photos were all taken with a very long telephoto lens.
@CorgiMommy that's amazing!!
@CorgiMommy Beautiful! Growing up I lived on a trout farm. A moose crossed the river and was wondering around on the farm. The adults wouldn't let any kids leave their houses for a whole week until the moose went back to the other side lol.
@Samtian that is an interesting story.
That's a big boy @CorgiMommy 👀
He was huge but far enough away for everyone to be safe @danielledanielle
Thanks, it is always a thrill to see one @curlychiquita
This is a lucky spotting @CorgiMommy do you see them often?? Gosh he is huuuge!
@CynthieLu he is huge! This time of year they are easier to spot. This is a favorite spot to find moose until it gets warm and then they are more on the forest.
That makes sense, it's gotta feel much cooler for them hiding in the shade of the trees once the weather turns hot. @CorgiMommy good catch with this one! 📸
@CorgiMommy You always have the most fascinating nature experiences! Thanks for sharing them.
