Things are crazy now. I think we are all trying to stay healthy and maintain sanity as well. I thought I would start this thread so folks can check in and discuss how they're doing. I want all my BIC friends to be okay. I will kick this off with a first post. Take care of yourself lovelies.

@greeneyedgirl107   Thank you.  Best wishes to you as well.  I’m fortunate to have a little four year old who says the darnedest things that make me smile so matter how sad I am.  He’s a pretty good reader for his age but has read ‘upgraded’ as ‘up-degraded’ and keeps yelling ‘yes!  I got updegraded!!’ when he completes game levels. I’m not ready to correct him yet.  It’s too cute

@faeriegirl   Thank you.  That last few months have really been testing.  My initial anger aside,

the really hard part is looking around our friend groupand wondering who else is secretly depressed. And was he trying to tell us he was depressed an s no one listened or was it some irreversible jerk reaction to something that momentarily overcame him?   I know there won’t be any satisfying answers.  There never are. It all just sucks.

Hello everyone, I am like back from the dead again (jk) Thank you all for well wishes you sent for my husbands return. It has been crazy ever since. 
First there was 14 days mandatory quarantine that was stressful and as soon he came out of it, It was time to get my IUD replaced. If anyone remember five years ago it was a hell to be inserted first time and took almost 6 weeks of cramping before my body accepted it.

And no reason isn’t contraception as I believe it is husband’s responsibility 😉 and neither one of us want me to suffer for it when there are so many non invasive and non painful methods. It was because of some other health issues resulting from unusually long , heavy and frequent periods.

Anyways the replacement was unsuccessful, Taking old one out was a breeze but my Dr Couldn’t get the new one in, She tried twice and then after consulting with me she brought in a colleague who also tried unsuccessfully. They couldn’t figure out why it was happening. If you ever had an IUD you must know the pain of installing in once so multiply it with three haha.

Anyways now I am waiting to see the Gynaecologist to get it done and on cue as soon it was out, super heavy painful period are back and add in cramping of removing IUD , I am bed bound for last ten days.

phew, This is the only place where I can get it off my chest so freely. My family worries a lot about my health so I don’t usually tell them the extent of a health related problem.

Let’s hope this year takes its problems and miseries with it and world enters healed and happy in the new year.

@fatimamummy  Aww I’m so sorry to hear you had a really bad experience with IUDs. I’ve had 2 and I had to see a specialist both times to have them put in. My family dr tried to take my second one out but was unsuccessful as well so I had to see a specialist for that too. I hope you get a quick referral and they are able to get it in quicker. I know when I had mine put in there was only one on the market. I know there’s it least 3 now. Have you tried the smaller one? I haven’t but I gave up on them.

@fatimamummy I'm so sorry to hear that you are going through pain.

Thank you for letting me know how painful IUDs are.  At my 6 week checkup post partum last year my OB asked if I wanted an IUD but I am glad I didn't say yes now that some of you said that they are painful.  My friend has the thing in the arm and she said that was not comfortable either.

@SportyGirly125  My daughter had the arm implant and had to have it removed because it was so uncomfortable.

@fatimamummy I'm sorry you went through all that!! Ouch! Hope you can get it all sorted quickly. And totally agree, they should make a contraceptive pill for men!!!

Thank you @pocketvenus I got Dec 12 appointment for over the phone consult after that they will give me an appointment for insertion hopefully.
