I personally don't celebrate Valentine's Day. However, I am helping my son get ready for his first Valentine's Day with his loved one. It is fun to get involved in the excitement of the holiday!

@Mellmars1185 I don't really celebrate it either since my first job was working in a flower shop.  Nowadays I do it for Galentine's Day and the kiddos.

I also worked at a flower shop @SportyGirly125!  I can't count the number of thorns I stripped off of long stem red roses. But that was my job 🥀

@CarolBT Oh the stories I have from working in a flower shop.  Valentine's Day was always long hours and interesting customers and stories.

I also remember Easter and Mother's Day being big days for flowers. I didn't stick around long enough for Thanksgiving or anything else. I was a teenager and it was a high school job. I had almost forgotten about it! I'm sure you heard lots of stories @SportyGirly125! I just remember mostly being in the back of the store doing flower prep.

@CarolBT It was my first job when I was 18 and in college.  I think I did everything in the store even deliveries.  Worked all the holidays.  The fun part was that my best friend and I would work some shifts together.

It was always busy Valentine's Day, Mother's Day and Spanish Mother's Day.
