Best Paint for Makeup Prep Room?

Recently repainted only to discover the gloss version of my beautiful flat green throughout the house is far from complimentary in the powder room to my olive skin. Am thinking of going deep aubergine, has anyone explored that color in walls?

@eshoe This will sound so boring but I would go with plain, bright white. A couple reasons:

1) White creates the brightest conditions. It will be easier to see the details of your face and makeup application. 

2) White won’t impart a cast or tone that other colours may. Artificial casts and tones lead to looks that look completely different once you step aside. 

Have you ever noticed that a number of the YouTube beauty gurus have plain white makeup rooms/corners? I think it’s for the reasons above. That’s my guess anyway 😊

Its not boring at all, @PinkEvergreen-I was actually considering white or even a very, faintly noticeable lavender white. I don’t watch YT beauty guru videos, I just post here 😂 I watched a couple a year or so ago, and just kind of lost interest. But you are on to something as I did notice everything was white in the rooms! Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts☺️
