11/21: What do you really think of turkeys?

Turkey as a meal is okay , not something we have often.  To me it is difficult cook as it dries out easily.  

Turkeys as a bird in the wild can be mean.   I have a friend whose dog got into a scuffle with a rafter of turkeys. It was very scary. (Yes, I had to look up what a group of turkeys is called)

Right?? @CorgiMommy Wild turkeys are so wiley and aggressive. I never mess with wild turkeys. 🚫🙈

Lol, it's a rafter then? I had no clue! I thought it would be something silly like a gobble of turkeys 😂

11/20: Is there a nail trend you'd like to try this season?  Nothing really as  I don't do my nails but I love looking at the nail look thread.

Tall or short boots? I like both honestly. I purchased a pair of tall boots this fall and love them.

Thanksgiving dinner itself or leftovers? I prefer the dinner itself, but enjoy leftovers too.

Cakes or pies? Pies! 

Mashed or baked potatoes? Mashed 💯

I've never had sweet potato pie, it's not a popular dish where I live. How would you describe it?

@CynthieLu sweet potato is almost exactly like pumpkin, just a bit sweeter (IMO), it's delicious.

Tall or short boots?  Short.  Just like me.

Thanksgiving dinner itself or leftovers? I cook Thanksgiving dinner for the leftovers. Hopefully a few days' worth.

Cakes or pies? Pies for Thanksgiving.  If I'm going to get carbohydrate poisoning, I might as well go all out

Mashed or baked potatoes?  If my family would accept baked potatoes with gravy, I would do that.  But something tells me that wouldn't fly.

Tall or short boots? Both, love boots in the winter.  Wore a pair if short boors today.  It us really cold here but will be in the 60's this weekend 

Thanksgiving dinner itself or leftovers? Leftovers including turkey hash (always on Friday), turkey tertrazzini on Saturday and just leftovers on Sunday if there is anything leftover.

Cakes or pies?  I sm not really a pie person but cake is too much after a big meal.  I generally don't have anything or maybe a little ice cream 

Mashed or baked potatoes? Love them both but Thanksgiving = mashed potatoes

11/4: What blush colors do you favor for fall? dusty rose

11/5: All time favorite cold weather creams, lotions, moisturizers and oils?  I use everything no matter what season. 

11/6: Best (and worst) approach to home fragrance?  Favorite autumn scents?  Least favorite types of home fragrance? Best is easy does it. Not super strong. I like pumpkin, apple, cedar, spicy scents. I don't like forest scents- juniper pine. 

11/7: What fall fashion trends do you want to try this year?  What are your old stand-bys? I haven't paid attention in years. 

11/8: Most delicious fall fruits and vegetables?  Berries, pumpkins, squash. 

11/9: Crafting!  Tell us how you do it, or what you'd like to do someday. I think it would be cool to make a wreath.

11/15: Create a candle for autumn...what notes would you use?  How would you package it? Pumpkin, Apple, some spices, little bit of cedar and little bit of sandalwood. Packaged in a pretty jar. 

11/16: Staying warm - how do you do it?  Tell us about your slippers, gloves, robes, heating tricks, etc. Staying in bed. 

11/17: How do you keep positive when it gets colder/darker? I always go to work in the darkness and come home in the darkness...so nothing changes but I'm not a positive person anyways 😂

11/18: What outdoor activities sound like perfect fall fun? Playing in leaves.

11/19: Best autumn sounds/feels? Sounds of kids and people trick or treating.

@Samtian  No seasonal mood disorder for you!  My husband gets a little of that because his work schedule is like yours; I'm glad you don't have to deal with it.

11/3: Mini pies are getting popular.  Which ones do you like? Cherry , blueberry, chocolate cream and lemon cream 

11/4: What blush colors do you favor for fall? I stick to pinks all year long, in know boring

11/5: All time favorite cold weather creams, lotions, moisturizers and oils? I like moisturizers that are thicker in the winter 

11/6: Best (and worst) approach to home fragrance?  Favorite autumn scents?  Least favorite types of home fragrance? Love the citrus scents and Lavender 

11/7: What fall fashion trends do you want to try this year?  What are your old stand-bys haven't thought about this but I did do a closet cleanse recently and thrn brought a bunch of new cardigans

11/8: Most delicious fall fruits and vegetables? I love parsnips, grapefruit and all those funky mushrooms you find in the market

11/16: Staying warm - how do you do it?  Tell us about your slippers, gloves, robes, heating tricks, etc. Layers, layers, layers .  I love to mix things up , all matching or some off beat colors together, gray, white & brown , purple green and yellow etc 

11/17: How do you keep positive when it gets colder/darker?  I love winter.  You need to find something you love about winter whether it is skiing, a cup of tea and a book, puzzles, hiking, etc.  If you don't have some you love to do winter can be rough.  I ski, snowshoe, take winter photographs,  and embrace the coziest winter provides.

11/18: What outdoor activities sound like perfect fall fun? Football games in person, hiking and making yummy treats

11/19: Best autumn sounds/feels? Crunching of leaves  and hygge
