Halloween!  It seems like every year it becomes more and more popular.  The candy.  The decorating.  The costumes.  It's so much fun for us to share in the celebration of the season.  Post in as much or as little detail as you'd like.

10/14:  what do you think about black cats?  Any superstitions

I love black cats, their eyes are very intriguing against the black face.

No superstitions that keep me from doing anything but I don't walk under ladders.

Oct. 14: I love all kitties and black cats are no different! The vast majority of my Halloween decor is black cat themed. My mom grew up with a black cat named Spooky (of course!) and I knew her until she died when I was around 5 or 6. I barely remember her but I do remember her a bit! 

To quote one of the greatest poets of our time, Michael Scott: “I’m not superstitious, but I’m a little stitious.”

Oct. 13: This might be really weird, but I’m super creeped out and bothered by children on camera, not like kids on TV shows or in movies, but like news stories or other “unscripted” things. It’s never sat well with me, I don’t like it, and I can’t watch it. That would also lead in to like the “influencer families” who have their kids doing all sorts of things for clicks and likes and shares and crap like that. It feels like exploitation and I don’t like it. Videos of family for your friends and family is one thing, broadcasting it for the world is another.

No, that's not weird, @alexasteph !  I completely agree.  Parents/adults should be protecting their children from such things.  The kids aren't mature enough to make appropriate decisions.  This will follow them the rest of their lives.

Agreed @Titian06 @alexasteph I don't like seeing kids on reality shows or anything like that, it's just so sad. No one should grow up in the public eye like that.

10/13 what creeps you out?  I have a long list, LOL.  Bugs, snakes, rats (i use to live in NYC), spiders (especially the big ones) and weird noises when I am home alone.

@CynthieLu i actually do think  about  going for a visit.  I have two friends  studying musical theatre in NYC.  I am awaiting their Broadway debut in a year or so.
