What's a good way of applying foundation?

I'm very new to makeup and not really sure what's the best way of applying foundation. I have a foundation brush (haven't used it, just got it), and a beauty blender (not the beauty blender brand, I got it free). which way would you recommend?

It really depends on the foundation. Some apply better with brush hen with sponge and the reverse is also true. Is also depends on the coverage your looking for.

I use the foundation brush from fenty beauty which is awesome

For a smoother finish, (and especially if you're super new to makeup), I'd reccomend dotting your face with the foundation and then blending it in with the beauty blender. Don't rub your face with the beauty blender, just tap your face repeatedly to blend. What foundation are you using?

I got one from the drugstore because I don't have a ton of money to spend on makeup, its loreal Paris infallible pro glow foundation
