What *didn't* you buy during the Fall Sephora Savings Event 2024?

We love beauty and shopping, but always have to draw the line somewhere.  What didn't you get this time around?  Do tell!

I ended up passing on the Kerastase set with the serum and hair oil. I still have half a bottle of the serum and several unopened bottles of the oil. I’m trying to be better at not having so many backups.

I didn’t get my La Mer The Rejuvenating Night Cream 1 oz / 30 ml because it sold out right away! Oh well, I have a lot of skincare, as we know. I will get it next sale!

I still need to go through a summer haul, so I skipped SC lippies.  There will be other 30% off sales.

Heh, I’d say “I didn’t buy any lipsticks this time” but I kinda sorta did squeeze in one lipstick(s) order tonight. 🙃 There is one lipstick I avoided buying though: Gucci Velvet Matte Lipstick 509 Rosso Ancora which I do want but I’m supposed to be reducing the reds in my lipstick hoard, not adding more. Pretty sure I already have a similar shade, too. 

KILIAN Paris Blue Moon Ginger Dash 1.7 oz / 50 mL eau de parfum spray - instead of taking 20% off during the sale, I’ll use my latest $100 Rouge Reward + a gift card to buy it soon. The rouge reward alone is a much better discount than 20%. 

amika Reset Cleansing Oil 6.7 oz / 200 mL because I already have enough backup bottles. I don’t need to restock right now. 

Paula's Choice 10% Niacinamide Booster 0.67 oz/ 20 mL - another “got plenty of unopened bottles already” situation. Plus, I might get a better discount direct from PC this month. 

The Ordinary products - the brand’s currently having their month-long 23% off sale, so I’ll buy direct from them instead. Or I could pay nothing OOP at Ulta (using some Ulta points). 

Oh, and another lipstick: Westman Atelier Lip Suede Hydrating Matte Lipstick with Hyaluronic Acid and/or Westman Atelier Lip Suede Hydrating Matte Lipstick Trio. This lipstick formula is fantastic, but I refuse to buy another* of these until WA finally releases refills. I’m not paying for another of those obnoxiously designed cases. I wonder if WA even still plans to sell refills without the case. 🤔

And okay, one more lipstick 😅: Fenty Beauty by Rihanna Fenty Beauty X Arcane – Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer Kaboom because it wasn’t in stock when I tried to order it. If it ever returns and I can get it, I absolutely will. 

*The WA lipstick I have (shade LFG) was a gift from a fellow lipstick lover, so I haven’t actually bought any of these lipsticks yet.

@greeneyedgirl107 Thanks for starting this thread. I didn't pick up the MAKEUP BY MARIO Ethereal Eyes Eyeshadow Palette: Moonlight . I already own the MUBM Ethereal palette and the MAKEUP BY MARIO Master Mattes® Eyeshadow Palette: The Neutrals . I feel like I can combine the two to get pretty close to the same shades and shimmers. That blue shade is a stunner, but I don't see myself reaching for it enough to justify the purchase.
