Saturday my best friend had her gender reveal party (it's a boy!) and then later that night I went out with a few friends from college who were in town so sharing two looks today - 

Saturday - 

Tarte shadows - chantilly lace, i think i cannes and moulin rouge, Tarte lights camera lashes mascara, HG alp, HG alb - luminous flush, and a pink lipgloss from Estee Lauder

Today - It's final interview day!! I hadn't flat ironed my hair in awhile and I had some extra time this morning so I figured eh, why not.

So, I haven't worn my UD Naked Skin foundation in a while because I seem to have gotten lighter from working full time in an office and wearing copious amounts of sunscreen when I actually am outdoors, but I just bought the Cover FX Custom Cover Drops and figured I could make it work for me again! Makeup for the Rouge event that I ended up not getting to. Oh well.

It was a ColourPop kinda day. Used the shadow pigments in Feeling Lucky, Girly and Game Face, and the Lippie Stix in Yasmin.

Wow, great lipstick! How do you like it (formula, wear)?

Thanks SD! Okay, about the formula. The matte Colourpops are quite pigmented, and I don't have an issue with most of them needing a lipliner (my dark ones do though) for feathering/patchy reasons. They are drying though, they can skip on the lips a bit, which is a bit bothersome, and they don't last as long as a liquid lipstick or a higher end matte lipstick. I actually prefer the satin/glossy versions, as they feel really nice on, are smooth, still very pigmented, though their wear time is a little shorter.

For $5 though, I feel it's a great value for what you get, especially for colours you wouldn't normally wear, and this is coming from someone who avoids drugstore stuff like the plague.
