when images upload as sideways, it means the pic is too big, so it reorientates on the board. when you upload the photo, before you insert it into your post, there is a drop down menu where you can select "full size / large / medium / small", and that will resize your image for you automatically. "medium" seems to be a perfect fit so i recommend selecting that.

i'll try to do a screen grab to show if i have a chance a little later.

I don't have this option directly on my iPad. I can upload the pic directly into the post which is easiest. If I want to resize,  the only way to get the dialogue box like that to work is if I first upload the image to an album, then comment and click the little picture sign in the comment box. Then I can choose from my album and change the size. Too much work!

What I normally do is I take the picture with my phone, email it to myself, download the file to my computer, open it, rotate it, re-save, and then post.  It sounds like a lot but it's not really a big deal.
