Happy New Year everyone!

I've been MIA for the last little while...I've been busy with the holidays (first time hosting guests over for Christmas dinner!) and am recovering from an (unknown) injury that has caused me some severe nerve pain in my leg. Actually, I was in such agonizing pain last night towards the end of the NYE celebrations that I had to lie down while friends were over and completely missed the countdown and toast 😞

Thankfully I do feel much better today, in fact, probably the most improvement I've felt since this started a few weeks ago. Hopefully I'll continue to feel better over the next few days before having to return to work!

Even though I was in agony, I still set aside some time for prettying up for NYE yesterday evening 😉

Face - MUFE Ultra HD Y315, set with LM translucent powder

Cheeks - Benefit Watt's Up (highlight) and MAC Shaft of Gold (contour/blush)

Brows - ABH Powder Duo in Ebony

Eyes - MAC Fluidline Blacktrack, Le Volume de Chanel mascara and Eyeko Black Magic mascara

Lips - NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Copenhagen (lips still having issues but seem to tolerate liquid lipsticks better than cream formulas)

Gorgeous, missed seeing your face round these parts! I'm sorry about the unknown injury, a while back when I stretched my leg, my muscle stiffened up and I was in incredible pain, it probably lasted 2 minutes but it seemed an eternity, and it happened more than once. I hope you feel better soon.

Thanks BW. Injuries are bad, but the ones where you weren't doing anything extreme are the worst! Glad your muscle didn't get injured...sometimes it just happens! I hate it when I stretch and I stretch too far and end up giving myself a charley horse.

Oh, charley horse = muscle cramp! 

I never used this term until I married my DH. His family has never said "cramp" ever...only ever refers to these funny horses 😄

Thanks enableme! Not fun at all 😞 but when this is all done I'll appreciate being able to move around without pain! I'm hoping it's going to be good motivation for me to stay active in 2016.
