Very tired today because Lady Glitch, the Gran Duchess of Mewsville refuses to let me sleep through the night.

But! Having a much better day today, make-up wise. I tried the Hourglass foundation without my primer when I came home yesterday and that definitely seems to be the problem. However, I am not willing to trade in something that has greatly improved the quality of my skin for something that might just cover up problems in my skin.

So, today is a Tarte day. Because I love them. And I experimented with some color in my cheeks. Not that you can tell.

I have been eyeing the Tartelette for awhile, it just looks like a lot of colors I would love. But I haven't taken the jump yet. I will say that that pink lipstick is perfect for you! It looks awesome!

I think I love the name of your cat almost as much as I love this look. Which is A LOT. 

I really wanted the Tartelette palette..but I feel like the colors are too similar to what I already have 😞

Aww, thank you! Glitch earned her title for being regal, dainty, and demanding.

I haven't found dupes for the Tartelette palette in my collection yet. There are some close colors, but many of those are not matte, which is how I justified the purchase. Plus, I'm a Tarteaholic. For being a mostly vegan, cruelty free brand they definitely bring in quality products. I feel like what I love most is that I can just throw on whatever shadow and the product kind of does the work for me, if that makes sense. It's great for those early mornings before work.

Of course, my boyfriend doesn't care as long as I pay rent.

I'm a fan of Tarte as well. I use the Tarte bon voyage palette almost daily. Many of those are similar to the Tartelette which is why I've held off. Sigh.

Hm.. Perhaps I haven't used my Bon Voyage palette enough. Not that it makes much of a difference, as I got this during Tartes early access promo late last year.

Ever since I got back to work I’ve been wearing minimal makeup, it’s just so hard for me to be all dolled up by 6 am *sigh*

Anyway, I was able to get the Jaclyn Hill Favorites palette, which was less than $2 for shadow.. so I figured why not?
