Haha, it wasn't awkward. When I turned 21 he took me out for my first official beer. I think he likes having a kid who digs beer as much as he does! Bonding over beer and basketball!

No one in my family really drinks except me and my brother. But I don't like beer, I prefer wine. And my brother only drinks beer. lol I just can't imagine drinking with my dad. lol We do bond over sports sometimes though, because I'm way more into sports now than I ever was growing up. So we talk about it some.

Man, you always do these bombshell red lips and make it look easy! I have reds but they scare me. You look great.

Red is 80% confidence, 10% color match, and 10% not getting it on your teeth, and I'm only at 90% most days. You can do it! Wear it around the house for a bit to get used to it, and check it in the mirror every hour so you see how it wears. That's also why I mostly wear matte lippies, because they don't randomly wear off during the day, and you only need to reapply after lunch.

You and I are the same shade o' pale! Don't you wear Nars Fiji? That's what I wear when I wear real foundation, albeit in the Sheer Glow formula, not the super-long-name new one.
