Have not had a chance to post or wear much makeup lately.  Midwest humidity makes it about impossible to avoid total face meltdown. Here's a few looks from my recent vacation to CA. 

Paris nudes on eyes and NARS Vanessa on lips.

Nude dip on eyes and cherry lush on lips.

CT Pillow talk liner on lips with surratt Hevyn over it  and TF nude dip and viseart neutral mattes on eyes

 

I can't believe I waited this long to get nude dip, it's so pretty!

The lighting seems to be making it pull cooler more muted. 

Took a shot of Vanessa no liner this morning in filtered day light.

Colors looked a little truer in this one.

Love these, especially the first two!! Vanessa looks so...beigey nude on your lips! I always thought it was more pink!

I'm wearing the usual stuff, using the Dior Nude Air Serum foundation (021) today. I tried applying with fingers instead of a brush and I think(?) it works better? With a brush I found that it would be pretty streaky because the foundation set so quickly, but it could just be because I needed to use more product.

Lips are Colourpop Dopey. Those who have Nars Anna, would you say this is close?

Finally, I bought and have started using the Hourglass Ambient Lighting powder in Diffused... I chose this pale yellow powder to hopefully make it less obvious if a foundation is a tiny bit too pink/orange for me. I like it so far, the effect is subtle in most lighting although I definitely look a lot more glittery in direct sunlight.

I am super excited about this shirt, it has unicorns all over it 😄 Hubby thinks they're horses... but I told him he's wrong. These "horses" are white and have a singular horn. Horses. Pfffft.

Brunch with friends and went to Nordstrom afterwards to check out the Anniversary Sale... no beauty purchases but I did purchase a number of bras and a necklace! I can only buy bras from select places so I couldn't resist the prices!

I didn't know how I felt about this lipstick when I got it and tested it on my minimally-made up face, but as many of you told me, it's not a colour that would really work on its own but needs to be part of a look. I LOVE it. It's one of the most unique colours in my collection and I'm glad I bought it. Now I'm looking at UD Oblivion because I love this so much. I even had a stranger ask me what lip color I was wearing while I was in Sephora.

I was looking at the new line of Maybelline lipsticks yesterday! I love the shade you're wearing and had my eye on the mauve one as well. How would you say the formula compared to the matte line if you have those? @k617

Thank @jesscheems 😄 I only have Touch of Spice from the matte line, and I haven't worn it for awhile, but from what I remember, this formula is creamier and slipperier than the mattes. Staying powder I'd say is about the same (good)!

I also have the Loaded Bolds in Mauve It...I will wear soon!
