Totally forgot to take my picture with my studio lighting. So, here I am on the way to work. My boyfriend is driving, so no worries, ya?

I've been sick. I did get the promotion without a pay raise, so I spent last week learning managerial things too. So, sick and busy.

I tried to record a makeup video, but my angle was not good. So, while I figure that out, I am going to be doing weekly product tests.

A promotion without a pay raise?   Sounds a bit evil to give you more work without more compensation.  Is it because you're still being trained?  Either way, a promo always looks good on paper.  Congrats!

The promotion to Jr. Lead is actually just title and responsibility based in my company. "Promo without comp" isn't actually all that unusual in my company. But, it's definitely annoying. My boyfriend thinks the promo was placation, since I was hounding them for fair compensation for the work that I do.

I had so much going on that I would come home and just be unable to function. So, they promoted me to Jr. QA Lead for that team, then had me switch teams for test coverage. So, I'm still Team 1's IOT specialist and Jr. Lead, but I'm Team 2's Validtech.

Ultimately less stress, but I still have three job titles. The internal turbulence should die down near the end of June, so I'm going to be back at their heels in Q3.

If it helps, from the BITE IG, those shades sound like they will actually be permanent. Sephora has just released them early. Taro wasn't supposed to be out until the 20th.

EDIT: I'm actually looking at them now (grated, this is the US site). They're all in stock, and the only one marked as LE is Taro.
