I've been super swamped, but I've got some exciting news.

First, we will find out tomorrow if my boyfriend is going to get a super cushy job. Second, it was (vaguely) implied that I will be getting a promotion up to a lead position at work. And third, I just got an email saying that I will be receiving a SK-II VoxBox.

I'm super, super stoked, and I cannot contain it. It just goes to solidify not letting the bad news that's befallen me the last couple months get me down, because great things do happen. It's all to easy to let it feed into my depression and anxiety. 

I also think that my cat is thriving on the Wysong food. He's playing, a lot. My boyfriend threw the ball for him all day (yes, my cat fetches), and since I've been home, he's chased the laser pointer for a good half hour and has brought the ball to me to throw several times.

Thanks! I swatched it from the bullet and felt there was no reasonable way I could wear that to work. So, I applied with a lip brush, and then blotted my lips with one of Kleenex's Disposable Hand Towels (this are like paper towels, but with softer texture and great for make up clean-up/brush cleaning).

I will be documenting results, since it claims sake to be very anti-aging. It looks like they're giving me four weeks to test it.

I'm really, really excited for this, because I've always wanted to try some of the SK-II serum/treatments, but it felt like such an investment for something I was unsure of. Even with Sephora's amazing return policy, I couldn't bring myself to shell out for this one; it felt like too much upfront. That, and I am still young. I'm at that age where collagen first starts to reduce (~26), so most anti-aging treatments are visibly lost on me, and I focus on cell turnover stimulation with antioxidants.
