My power was out all morning so I took that as a challenge to wear more color, knowing well that I might end up looking clownish with the lack of good lighting haha. I used an LED lantern, my phone's flashlight, and a Diptyque candle (Tubéreuse :p) as my vanity lighting. These pictures are taken with either my phone's front camera flash, or just the light from my makeshift setup.

Not my best work, but not my worst. Eyebrows were a bit of a hassle, as was the red lipstick. I couldn't even see where my lip line ended so I accidentally overdrew my lips a little.

Thanks Vaashtii! Which color did you order? Unfortunately Ronnie Red was LE from a few years back but I'm sure they have a dupe somewhere in their red collection. Try MAC Red!

I came really close to getting Von Teese. But really, how many red lipsticks does a girl need? (I know never too many, right? But I have several different reds and I always just go with Red Velvet anyway)

I ended up on the MAC site, having never ordered a MAC lipstick before, because I was looking for a gold type shade. I ended up ordering Bronze Shimmer. I'm worried that it will be too sheer. Some of the swatches I saw looked great, but some looked sheer. so *fingers crossed*
