This is gorgeous, thank you! I DID buy it Saturday night (had to make a run to Lowe's as we were replacing our garbage disposal, figured I HAD to stop at the mall on the way haha) but I haven't opened it yet to play with it. Once I really looked at the palette I realized there are only a few colors that I wouldn't reach for regularly, but I could still see that I would use them on occasion.

I had a strictly skin care day yesterday, and didn't go anywhere. Today, I had to go shopping. 😕

My inability to leave spots and sores alone is legendary, so I was trying to give a sore I more or less created on my jaw some time to heal - to keep it moist so it doesn't scar or leave a super dark pigmented spot. I do have the Murad post-acne spot lightener coming, so we'll see if it works, even if there is a dark spot.

For anyone who wants to know how to deal with eyelid dermatitis:

My eyelids were really starting to itch, and it was disheartening. I almost went to the UC. While Hydrocortisone 1% greatly relieved the itching, I am not keen to continue that regiment past the first two days I had this issue because the skin of the eyelids is so thin and the steroids can be absorbed into the eye itself, increasing the pressure and therefore the risk of cataracts, glaucoma, and spontaneous retinal detachment. I was going to go pick up some of the PTR eye masks this morning as a last resort, but I had the stunning realization that.. A) Vaseline is totally safe on the eyes and eye area, as long as you're not putting huge chunks into your tear duct, and B) Aquaphor is so powerful it can stop a fresh tattoo from itching like a S.O.B... So, I am using an applicator wand to put Aquaphor on my lids. I started it last night, when my lids were deep red from scratching. They were scaly, had tons of little bumps that are diagnostically relevant to dermatitis, and swollen. After applying the Aquaphor, there was immediate relief. This morning, upon waking, the swelling was almost entirely gone. There were fewer, smaller bumps, no scaling, no itching. Plus, my lids feel so incredibly super hydrated compared to my normal eye cream.. it's fantastic.

So, there you have it. If you don't have any pre-existing eye conditions, you can use Hydrocortisone 1% topically with an applicator wand on your lids for two days, twice a day only (DO NOT GET IT IN YOUR EYES). If you do have a relevant condition, you may be able to get approval from your doctor to use a benadryl cream or eye rinse as an alternative. After that, follow up as needed with Aquaphor, applied with an applicator wand to minimize contamination of the gel.

It goes on very opaque and dries down well.  However, it doesn't last through eating and drinking.  I do like the unique colors...I give it a B-
