We're having a great time so far.  The biggest surprise has been how much hotter it is in the countryside than Rome was.  I'm adjusting by doing very simple makeup looks.

it has been in the high 90s since we got here on Saturday.  The air is quite heavy with this heat, so middays are good for siestas and gelato!
