woke up thinking my skin felt / looked particularly bouncy and bright after using my new kate sommerville goat milk lotion last night. so this was originally just supposed to be "i feel like wearing lipstick and nothing else"...but then things snowballed. as they do, amirite ?

Today my family is celebrating my grandpa's 94th birthday. We all went out to breakfast, and since breakfast grease and lipstick don't mix, I didn't wear anything. However, when I got home, I ran to try out this vampy-colored lipstick that our own lovely Veg sent me! The formula is very rich and creamy. Surprisingly for a dark lipstick, I haven't had problems with patchiness. I do wish I'd worn it with lipliner as it bleeds a slight bit, but I was in a rush to show it off. Also, it doesn't have that grandma or sugar smell that most lipsticks have, but instead smells ... citrusy? Maybe? I'm bad at smells. But it's very intriguing.

i need that lipstick simply cause -drunk in love- describes me to a T right now. But it's very pretty. I'm intrigued by this lippie. Is it an indie brand?  Congrats on your grandpa's 94th! may he live many more.

I've never heard of the brand till now. I just looked it up and it appears to be a Canadian brand. And thank you on the birthday wishes for my papa. 🙂
