Celebrated my birthday this weekend, and this is the look I had for it. As I assumed, my friends were disappointing and didn't show up, even the ones who who said they would. I did have my two best friends come over, so at least I had that. Ended up having a bbq in the backyard since it was gorgeous out, and I just finished my landscaping so it looked pretty 🙂 

Wore a whole slew of things! Because it's mah birthday, why not? Anastasia Dip Brow in Auburn, MUFE Electric palette, Mac single in Beautiful Iris, KVD Trooper liner, Diorskin Nude BB cream, Benefit Benetint and Dior Pink Sunrise on cheeks, my MUFE "contour" palette, meteorites, and Chanel lipstick in effrontee. A few other things as well, but they're not that interesting.

This is a fabulously Old Hollywood Birthday look! The exquisite works of art on your eyelids, using every shade of blue and violet and silver, are the stars of the show! However, your brows are immaculate, your cheeks are radiant, your complexion looks flawless, and that Japanese Cherry Blossom lip hue is just gorgeous! You looked beautiful! 🙂 So sorry some of your friends didn't show up to celebrate. Ultimately it is their loss, as it is time for you to walk out of their lives, and find yourself a new group of friends.

Happy belated birthday kb!  And I wouldn't worry about the friend situation.  People grow apart as their interests change all the time, and you always meet new people when you least expect it.  For all you know one of your kids will meet a new friend at school and you'll hit it off with their parents.  

Your close friends will make your birthday up to you if they couldn't make it, though I assume you had a great time with the two that showed up:).   Two good friends is better than a slew of people you're not sure about anyway.
