The strangest thing is that 20 years ago I was 24, and I never even imagined the internet would ever feature as such a huge part of my life. I'd only just gotten one of those huge Apple Macintosh Desktop computers, which were the first to become popular with the college crowd. They took up an entire desk. My nearest phone was a public one in the lobby of my dorm, and it was always busy, so I phoned home never! I'd be livid if my girls didn't check in with me constantly!

lol i remember those dial up days, oh dear. i just downloaded icq right now to see what is new.. so different from before. no more little uh ohs lol. and it seems like its just another way to get a text to someone now.
