( Not to be enabling buuuttt are you looking for a priming oil? Have you heard of GXVE BY GWEN STEFANI All Time Prime Clean Hydrating Prep & Smooth Face Oil 0.95 fl oz. / 28 mL one drop after my skincare and before my makeup is all I need, I really like this stuff. 😉)

I want to try Danessa Myricks Beauty Yummy Skin Moisture Repair Balm Serum with Hyaluronic Acid and Squalane 1.41 ... as a makeup base but I mainly use it as the end of my day skincare. Did it not mix well with your foundation?

Ooh, thanks for the tip on the GXYE oil, @CynthieLu:  I think I used too much of the balm this time and it may not be quite the right fit for the Patrick Ta. When I set it with powder everything kind of clumped,  I had to stipple it with a beauty blender and it still wasn't long until I saw separation again. I know you have some of the Danessa Myricks base though and would totally suggest trying a thin layer as primer especially if you're having a dry skin day. I've used it to prime for the Danessa Myricks Beauty Yummy Skin Soothing Serum Skin Tint Foundation with Peptides + Ceramides and it was gorgeous.

Going out of your comfort zone paid off, @PDXXXX , because your look turned out great!  Out of curiosity, how do you like the Smooth Operator powder?  I've considered trying that one out.

Thank you so much @CookieGirl1 ! I've used the loose smooth operator powder for years and it's magic! Unfortunately, it's become harder to find though I sometimes find it at Ulta and you can get it on the Tarte site. I've tried the pressed powder version and it's not bad but it doesn't really compare to the loose powder. I can't recommend it enough though, I've tried countless other loose powders and nothing works like it does to not only set but diffuse and brighten.

@SportyGirly125 I have definitely been eyeing those. I got the PATRICK TA Major Dimension III Matte Eyeshadow Palette and the quality and blendability are beyond my wildest dreams. Having all three must be so fun with all the options they lend! I'm really curious about the PATRICK TA Major Dimension Eye Illusion Eyeshadow Duo as well but right now the shades I'm interested in are out of stock!
