@CynthieLu the Tucson Gem show is huge. It takes over the city for like 2 weeks. Out of the stalls that I saw, this one was my favorite. I tried finding other opal or moonstone pendants but this one was the most unique. That artist group sounds pretty cool. There’s a place here that will let you design your own piece but it’s more of a minimalist style.

Woah, 2 weeks? That is a huge event, with sooo much to look at I bet. At shows it's really neat to see what different people create. 😀 @makeitup305. I think it's a special moment when you find a piece that speaks to you. 

I don't know if I have the art in me enough to create my own piece but I'd love to watch someone go through the creative process from stone to finished piece.

@CynthieLu It's one of the biggest gem and mineral shows in the US, I think. It takes place all over the city, in little convention centers and some people just gave storage spaces they rent out.
