This is such a fun thread @ather @itsfi ! I'm definitely a minimalist when I travel and all my "beauty" fits into 1 travel bag LOLOL gotta dig through my collection.. this is perfect since I'll be traveling next month! Thank you for the tag @ather 🥰

@jaaayp  Ooooo where are you going to on this trip? Is it the cruise? I can’t wait to see what you bring. I’m going on a small family vacation in 2 weeks not to far only 3 hours away but I will really check what I bring! I think I’m minimalist but we shall see!

Yesss! It's the cruise! Although, being that it'll be chilly, I may need to pack a little heavier than usual so my skin isn't all dried out and sad @ather im excited to see your pack!

@jaaayp, I have pen and paper ready to take notes and learn.  Day to day, my makeup is usually on the more minimalist (not minimalist, but more so than a full face) but for some reason, when I'm packing on vacation, it's like I feel this need to stuff as much as I can into my bags. 😂🤣😂 This most recent vacation was better but it's still a work in progress. Ready to learn. @ather

LOLOL @ather @itsfi I feel like it's like nothing innovative! I usually just pack a full coverage foundation (to use with brush or sponge depending on coverage needed) or just a concealer. I bring a multi purpose pallet that has eyeshadow and brush (sometimes even bronzer). Just whatever I can minimize 🤔 no hair tools, just my well loved heatless curler I use multiple days a week. I shall get something together and post today! ❤️

You both have mentioned a heatless curler @jaaayp @ather ... hmmm. 🤔 I can get some waves when I put up damp hair into a clip, but it doesn't last very long.

@itsfi ooooo waves just using a clip! That is amazing. But too bad it doesn’t last. Hmmm clips always just leave my hair with awkward kinks in it that never go away!

Thank you @ather! If it's easier, you can break it down by a post for skincare essentials and then post another day with hair care essentials. I just posted a set of products that make up the wellness / self care essentials for my most recent vacation. ⬆️  Some things may change from time to time, like I might take a Cay Skin or Rhode lip balm with me - technically I had both those and the one from the pic with me on my last trip. 😁 SPF and lip balm I like to have in ample supply, if I can. Ha!

I am definitely a minimalist if I am flying. For a beach vacation, my "liquids bag" includes shampoo (sample size or poured into a sample-size bottle), mask (foil), Bumble and bumble Mini Hairdresser's Invisible Oil Heat Protectant Leave In Conditioner Primer 2 oz/... , sample size SPF (to tide me over until I buy full size at my destination), and waterproof mascara.

I also take nonliquids:  Bumble and bumble Mini Prêt-à-Powder Dry Shampoo .5 oz / 14 g , waterproof black or brown pencil eyeliner, and another pencil eyeliner in a fun color.  I love Sephora collection pencils!

@Mel231 I like your minimal approach. It can be nice to just enjoy the moments while you are on vacation. Makeup usually gets washed away (depending on where you go!)
