@itsfi Ooh thanks for showing me this. I don't have face travel sized brushes. They look cute!
There’s a few other new Sephora Collection brush sets but I couldn’t find them to tag earlier @Mellmars1185.
SEPHORA COLLECTION The Starter Brush Set
SEPHORA COLLECTION The Total Brush Set
Theres also an SEPHORA COLLECTION The Eye Brush Set but that bag is smaller than the others. It depends if you need or want more brushes. I’m sure there are similar bags without the brushes that would be less expensive.
@itsfi Thank you! I searched Sephora Collection and it looks like they have released quite a few new items. It is exciting because I love the Sephora brand. I don't think I have anymore room for new brushes 😆. The bag makes for a great travel bag though...hmmm 🤔. How long do you keep your brushes before you retire them??
For travel I like to use the cute little brand bags that I've collected over the years to help me be organize.
This trip I used one for a couple of nail polish, polish removing pads and tidy up q-tips.
I used a rather large one to bring my skin care foils and testers and GWP.
And another to do my hair care, which was foils of shampoo/conditioner, two tester hair oils and Oribe Hair Alchemy Heatless Hair Styling Balm 5 oz ( and a tester mini spray conditioner to use after swimming Bumble and bumble Mini Hairdresser's Invisible Oil Heat Protectant Leave In Conditioner Primer 2 oz/... )
And one for my makeup that was just simply:
PAT McGRATH LABS Mini Eye Shadow Palette: Sublime Smoke
Benefit Cosmetics Mini Gimme Brow+ Tinted Volumizing Eyebrow Gel 3
Supergoop! Unseen Lipscreen Sheer SPF 30 Lip Balm null
MAKE UP FOR EVER Artist Color Pencil Extreme Smudge-Proof Lip Liner 606 Wherever Walnut
TOM FORD Lip Color Lipstick 01 Insatiable from a set of cute Mini's.
Speaking of the large bag of GWP+ foils, I still have a fair amount left after clearing through some this trip, ( posted on Empties - V2 )
Just the left overs pictures below.
Love the way you organized your travel essentials, so well thought out. I like the idea of packing in bags because each item is well thought out when it is put into the bag. I think it’s so neat to utilize foils, I think it’s a great way to incorporate them I know sometimes I will forget to use them in the moment. Lovely travel essentials and such cute bags! I hope your trip was amazing 🤩 @CynthieLu
Thank you so much @peculiarzmakeup 💖
I love organizing things into little bags and categories lol. I think it's the most fun part of the packing experience imo. Silly but true!
I've really collected quite a few makeup bags over the years. I would love to see others collection's of them too. I have a weakness for a good branded bag and I'm sure there are lots of BIC folks who might feel the same. 💕
Oh gosh, yes, foils. I don't mean to have so many of them but they just build lol. Taking them with me helps cut them down drastically and saves me so much space. Win win!
That is such a fun part is sorting and organizing I’m so with you there! I actually have like one makeup bag I think it’s my grandmas haha 🤣 I would love to start a collection that will be my next venture ❤️ @CynthieLu
@CynthieLu Wow you have this down to a science 🧪
Than you 😄 I as picking up a lot of good tips on this thread @ather for my next trip I'll be trying out some news ideas 😉
@CynthieLu Excellent packing. Do you have any favourite items so far? Do you think you will continue to use the Bumble & Bumble when you get home?
Yes, I did find some good ones. 😄 The Oribe Hair Alchemy Heatless Hair Styling Balm 5 oz I brought with me was a surprise foil find. Incredibly impressive imo @Mellmars1185
I didn't do any heat styling on my trip and it worked really well on my little waves. I want to experiment more with it but I'm very seriously thinking about purchasing the full size. 👌
I had a sample or two of Drunk Elephant Bora Barrier Rich Repair Refillable Cream with 6-Butterlipid Complex 1.69 oz / 50 mL and my skin drank it up. This isn't my first sample of it, it is another one in thinking of purchasing. It feels like a solid moisturizer for my skin that has redness and barrier issues.
@CynthieLu Nice! I love how you found these favourites! They sound really nice. I have some samples of the Oribe too. I should try them out. I have been letting my hair air dry too during the summer. Sometimes it is too hot to bother styling.
@CynthieLu, that's a nice, pared down group of makeup essentials. I'll have to try bringing nail polish with me on a future trip. I usually only pack nail polish remover wipes, to remove my polish if/when it starts to chip.
I spent a few weeks at a cottage, my make up needs were *very* minimal. @itsfi I only wore my makeup out a few times for fun day trips. 😉
I was swimming a couple times a day and I learned from last year my polish can only survive so much sand. I packed 8 bottles all together but I feel like I only used 4.. 😅 Options right? Lol
@CynthieLu, ooouh, 8 bottles of polish - that sounds like some fun options! Going through half of what you brought with you is good, and now, you have 4 other polishes ready whenever you're up for your next mani.
I pack from my foils and GWP. I have tons so it is easy for me to have everything need for skincare. Shampoo and conditioner are coveted GWP for me as I can go through them pretty quickly.
Makeup, I bring a sample mascara, than my usual makeup from home generally not taking large palettes.
For plane travel a facial.mist is a must have.
Amazing and well thought out way to utilize foils and such great essentials! @CorgiMommy ❤️
@peculiarzmakeup thanks I have been doing it for years
@CorgiMommy I also agree GWP are my go to travel companions!
@ather it is a great way to discover new products
@CorgiMommy Great travel packing. I never considered packing a facial mist. I am curious!
