A place to say thank you, provide reviews and first impressions, or follow up on gratis received after more use!

Many of us have been very lucky to receive gratis (thanks Sephora!), and I’ve been finding that while it’s easy to initially post about receiving it and initial reviews, it’s not as easy to follow up! 

I thought maybe we could have a dedicated thread to follow-ups and reviews with products we’ve received after we’ve been using them for a while, especially because it’s sometimes hard to find the original thank you and first impressions threads.

Thank you @TeamBIC for the extra eye shadow palette!  These really suit me; I hope more color combos are on their way!

These shades really do show up as warm tones on me, and normally would make my eyes look kind of muddy, but I used some additional products to make it work.  I've noticed that palettes that look cooler on other people don't on me, so I decided to use a warmer shade of shadow as a base, and a cooler liner, and that seemed to do the trick.

Smashbox Always On Cream Shadowin Vanilla as a base. 

I seemed to have lost shade guide- shade 1 all over lid and up through crease.

Shade 3 crease and outer corner of lid.

Shade 2 (khaki color) outer corner of lid and outer crease.

Sydney Grace Cream Shadow in Warm Glow (a very frosty peach) for a pop on the center of the lid.

Smashbox Always On Cream Shadowin Ultramarine as a liner.

Saie Mascara 101 Lengthening and Lifting 0.31 oz/ 10 g 

tarte Mini Sketch & Set™ Brow Pencil and Tinted Gelin Black Brown.  I only used the gel.  By the looks of it, I should have also used the pencil. 😂
