Nirvana Rose Dry Shampoo Review: (added 5/10)

I was quite impressed! This fragrance with notes of Rose de Mai, Geranium, and Vetiver is lovely. The mist was fine, and left no weird white residue in my medium brunette hair. I wash my hair every other day, and the slight oil in my hair was eliminated by the product. It did also give some volume at the roots without feeling heavy which is great, as I don't like the feeling of a lot of product in my hair. The fragrance is subtle to moderate in strength, without being overpowering. I was excited to try the Nirvana Rose scent first, because I have not smelled it before. 

Kora Organics Noni Glow Face Oil, described as a luxurious, powerful yet delicate treatment oil for the face and neck. It has antioxidant and essential fatty acid rich oils to smooth, nourish and brighten the skin. Kora Organics is founded by Miranda Kerr.

Initial thoughts on the Kora Organics Noni Glow Face Oil:

It has a sweet, yet pleasant fragrance I would describe as fruity/rose. The scent is quite strong and lingered on my skin for several hours after application. I have sensitive, combo skin with dry cheeks and an oily nose and forehead. On the box it says the oil is suitable for all skin types. My skin has not reacted or broken out, and the dryness in my cheeks already feels improved by the oil. Here is a photo of the ingredients for anyone curious about it. I will report back again in a few days as I continue to use the product.

The gift box was so beautifully presented, with everything individually wrapped, and even some chocolate! ❤

I will report back my thoughts as I try each product, and post swatches of the Nudestix pencils. 🙂

I've slowly been trying some of these amazing products, and can say I am so far very pleased!

I used the E&J Rose this morning, and at first was worried it would be too strong. Sometimes fragrant dry shampoos are a bit much. But it was so lovely! It looks and feels very nice in my hair, and the scent is light, in no way overwhelming. I did go with a rosey perfume today to compliment it, however. Viva La Juicy Rose if you're wondering 

I've arm swatched all of the Nudestix, and they are so nice. I'm really excited to wear them. Today I went with the Lip + Cheek Pencil in Sin. Wow this is such a beautiful warm rosey pink! I feel like this color was made with me in mind, it is so perfect. I typically do not like lip pencils in this application, I find them to be quite drying, but Nudestix has figured out a way to keep the formula creamy and long wearing. I can try to snap a picture a bit later today if I have a chance! 

A few nights a go I wore the Magnetic Matte Lip Color in Burgundy, and that one is absolutely gorgeous as well. It looks way darker in the pencil and as a swatch than on my lips. It's also quite comfortable to wear, and even though it is matte, was in no way drying. 

Of course the chocolates were delicious as well!

I love the Sin shade too, and I am looking forward to trying the Burgundy on my lips later. I think this will be a beautiful color to wear in the fall/winter as well. 🙂

OMG y'all!  I also received this gift and I am so thankful to Sephora, Nudestix, Elizabeth and James and Kora Organics for the opportunity to try out these amazing new products! 

The very first thing I did was try on all the Nudestix colors and these shades and formulas are amazing - what a beautiful variety of colors!

Second, even though I just got home from the salon, I spritzed my hair with the Elizabeth and James Nirvana Bourbon Dry Shampoo - I love this scent!

I am super excited to try the Kora Organics Noni Glow Face Oil tonight!!!

I am completely blown away by the generosity of Sephora and the brands for such a fabulous and much appreciated gift!!!  The chocolates were also such a sweet touch and were promptly devoured, of course!

@Tamara76 can't wait for your review on the dry shampoo.  I think my curls are tighter and likely drier than yours but I've always wanted to try a dry shampoo

I love the smell of E&J Nirvana Bourbon and I hoard any perfume samples I receive (sadly, hubby thinks it smells like old cigarettes... ???).  Rose smells lovely, too, so I can't wait to try them.

My all time favorite dry shampoos are Dry Bar Triple Sec and R+ Co. Death Valley, so I am anxious to see how these compare from a formula perspective.

Believe it or not, in addition to using dry shampoo to freshen my roots on day two when I wear my hair naturally curly,  I love using dry shampoo as a styling product when I curl my hair with a curling iron - It seems to hold the curls better and give it more volume.

@Tamara76, This is a great styling tip for the dry shampoo. I'm going to try it!💕 When I use my curling wand, the curls usually fall flat after a few hours, despite using hairspray.

@angel7594  I also use 2 types of hairspray:  Kenra Platinum Finishing Spray 26 and Smooth Sexy Hair Spray because it is super humid where I live - My curls tend to last all day with this combo! 🙂

@Tamara76 Thanks for the hairspray tip, I will pick up travel sizes of both if they are available and give it a try! My hair is thick and heavy, so I need more hold, I think. 🙂
