Patrick Ta is adding lip balms to his collection. 6 shades (5 tinted balms, 1 clear balm) in initial launch. 

ETA: Said to launch December 13 on Patrick Ta website and Sephora. (source: Project Vanity) Sephora *may* have early access the day before via its app. I have no confirmation of this but we may see more information about these balms if the product page is uploaded early.

@itsfi  Oooooooo ok I wasn’t into these cases until today. With the colder weather and all the rink time I have to experience this time of year. I threw my fav Rhode peptide lip treatment into my pocket. And I must have pulled something out and put it went too. But luckily only in my car. But I was like hmmm maybe this case is a great idea! No more miss placing lip treatments? Hmmm 🤔

@ather @itsfi I had a client come in with the Rhode phone case and she said it was terrible quality for the price. She said the case eventually stretches out and was the cause of her screen getting cracked.

I can see how a case like this would come in handy @ather if you had a phone that would be compatible with it. 📱

@ather, you’ll have to let us know if you have a chance to try it. I’m sure there are different opinions on it, like with most things - there will be some like the customer at the Sephora where @SportyGirly125 works for whom it didn’t work out and then there are others who love it.

@itsfi Have you tried out this formula yet?  I've been looking at the mini pack to be able to distribute a few and try one, but for some reason I'm hesitant.

That little set of mini's is really cute @missjeanie.  They're tiny, but cute. I have this balm in the Blackberry shade and the Coconut one. I have mixed feelings. Really like the blackberry one - shade and feel / formulation. It led me to purchase the coconut one. That one, for some reason, has felt grainy on my lips, if that makes sense. It's felt less so with each subsequent use, but that first application threw me off. I'm wondering if it's the coconut, like it's got all of the coconut in it (flesh and part of the husk)? I'll try both of them again this week and get back to you.

As for coverage, light and sheer. I thought I had taken a photo of it compared to Rhode espresso lip tint, but I can't seem to find it. I'll have to take a more thorough look for it later, but it's sheer with more than a touch of color but I would not say it's opaque. Good on its own for "no makeup" makeup looks, weekend errands, with a liner for more color and coverage.

@itsfi I generally don't mind mini these days... I find it's a long shot for me to finish a lip product so mini works out okay.  Grainy though... hmm.... I found the Tower 28 I bought when they first launched grainy as well.  I was hesitant with the Rhode version since I'd heard the same reports.  We may need to see what I get talked into buying when little ones are with me lol.
