@ather, agree; the limited edition sets that Merit releases for the holidays / winter or at the end of the year are always so well curated. 😍 I know you recently picked up one of their shimmer eye shadow pots; do you think you might pick up this set as well?

@itsfi  As much as I have been loving the shadow, and it doesn’t irritate my eyes. I am probably going to pass. It’s a beautiful set but I am thinking I have so much of their products now it wouldn’t make sense to get more without using what I have.

I hear ya @ather; that's a smart approach! I get what you mean about accumulating a lot of their (very lovely) products. I sifted through my Merit stash a couple of months ago to pull out what I reach for most often and what I want/need to put to use, and set aside a handful of items to pass along - duplicates of things I don't need duplicates of, as well as shades that I can now clearly see are not a good match for me - slightly embarrassed by how many foundation sticks I had. How I thought so many of them were or might have been good shade matches, I don't know 🙄😅 but they are in better homes now. 🙌

@itsfi  Omg!!!!!! 😳 how cute is this launch???? Haven’t we been asking for the tinted lip treatments to be scented for like forever????? 

Are you eyeing anything in this launch?

Yes, I'm happy to see she's coming out with some scented ones @ather; hoping they are on the softer side, similar to the lemontini one. I have an idea of what they would smell like based on their names; well, all but Ribbon. Do you think that is going to be like candy ribbon? 

Oooh, I haven't given too much thought to what I'd pick up but I know I won't pick up the phone case as my phone won't fit, which is fine. I'll likely pick up at least one of the new scented lip tints - espresso, for sure. Will have to keep an eye out for info on the scent for that Ribbon shade - if it's sounds appealing, I may consider the set and then break it up to gift some. As I write that, I may go that route regardless. I just posted my haul with the eye patches so I will probably pass on them this round. The oversized bubble pouch I'm not sure of. I have backups of the skincare products that should last me well through the spring sale. You? Is there anything in this new launch that you're leaning towards?

@itsfi  I had the same thought. But I think ribbon candy makes sense! I can’t think of any other scent that would work!! 

Hmmm Toast is my fav colour. But I also like ribbon but I think it would definitely depend on how the scent plays out! Espresso and Berry are both lovely too. Hmmm hard to choose!! The bubble bag looks huge. I’m not sure what use it would be good for. I do like the appeal of it. I guess I’ll see. I have a few days to think about it! I haven’t tried the eye patches yet. I’m all stocked up on skincare also! I was so hoping for another surprise launch with the birthday launch!

I also will pass on the phone case! I am due to trade mine in next month!

Toast is a pretty shade; I love how it pairs so well with pretty much every color lip liner. It makes it an easy-peasy go to @ather! lol, the bubble bag is indeed oversized; they were not kidding about that - it can hold 7 full-size Rhode  products. 😳 The full size Barrier Butter and Pineapple Enzyme Cleanser are not small. 🤣

Rhode is launching in Sephora UK on the 10th, so maybe once that has taken place and thing settle down a bit, the brand will roll out new launches or a suprise launch. I'm still holding out for a sunscreen, but maybe 2026.

@itsfi  Wow! I didn’t realize it holds 7 full size products!!! Like what would one do with that big of a bag? Hmmm laptop bag? Crazy!!! I see the models using it like a clutch but that wouldn’t be what I would use! 

Did you pick anything up from the launch?

I've seen that too @ather - using it as a clutch. I'm not sure it would work for me structurally. I'd probably use it to hold all my Rhode items that are not in current use, maybe? I'd have to think about that a little more. I picked one up to include as a gift - I'll toss in some Rhode items I picked up during the Sephora sale in there. 

I picked up the set of the scented lip treatments. I noticed I didn't have the raspberry jam one from the original release, and I know I didn't have ribbon. Toast I'm including in a stocking stuffer and will likely do the same with espresso.

@itsfi  that’s a great idea too!! Sounds like you got lots of great items!! I am looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the scents on the new lip treatments!! Wondering if they will be too sweet for you!

@ather, I was completely off on all the scents that would attach to those lip tints. They're all dessert related, not based on the name of the lip tint. I updated the post with a snapshot of the scents. I'm a little nervous now that they may be too sweet for me? Hmmm ...

@ather, I think there's a possiblity it might be or it could be, for me at least. The desserts theme could veer in that direction. We'll see; if it's like the vanilla or birthday cake scent from the non-tinted lip treatment it should be fine.
