@itsfi  I only remember because I was mad when I saw it but it was sold out!!!! Literally been waiting for this launch forever! 

I added one to cart! But I need to test it before I add more since everything seems to irritate my eyes now 😭

Did they @ather ? I don’t remember that! They look so good ! I ordered 2 from direct and they just arrived. They feel and look like the smoothest pearly glow! I will definitely want to pick another shade up soon! Love to hear about yours when you get them!

@Sunnysmom I've been waiting for this launch!  I really enjoy the matte shade I have and use it quite a bit.  I'm looking forward to swatching as I suspect they'll be in my local store.

I didn’t know they were coming @missjeanie ! I’m very excited to see them too. All the shades look so wearable. I also hope they add a cool grey or green even at some point!

@Sunnysmom I was kicking myself for not picking up the one they had a few years back as part of a LE set.  I commented a few months ago on their instagram that I was hoping it came up for sale again and their reply implied that it was coming.  I find the matte versions really last well on lids and I hope these will as well.  And like you said, they all look very wearable!

I’m glad I don’t remember them @missjeanie but super glad they listened to you! 😊 I like how the mattes perform as well. Sounds like these can be mixed with them!

I was thinking of buying a second Seneca candle when this email hit my inbox. They had me at cedar + blackcurrant + ginger + chili pepper. Guess I’ll order two candles now. 🙃

@Margalee  Yeah, Sephora doesn’t carry Harlem Brands’ candles yet. They released a second new candle I forgot to post about in this thread: Ragtime, a Lincoln Center collab for the musical. Fragrance notes for that one:

Top Notes: Pink Pepper, Ambergris, Cypress
Middle Notes: Cardamom, Plum, Ginger
Base Notes: Vetiver, Sandalwood, Moss

@missjeanie  I’ll post about it in the monthly hauls thread when it (and a few other things I ordered) arrives. Speaking of seasonal scents, I saw their full size St. Nicholas candle’s sold out—but the travel candle was still available. IIRC, that one has a pomander scent.

@itsfi  I’m still surprised Sephora doesn’t carry the candles—not even the base (permanent) ones. Recent store visits make me think Sephora’s backing off from candles in general, and that’s a shame.

@WinglessOne, I’d be bummed if Sephora was phasing out candles but I can see that, at least in store. Though in one of my stores, there is a whole end cap devoted to them. I initially thought Sephora was looking to stock refillable candles as brands such as Voluspa seemed to be moving in that direction. And, perhaps in the wishful thinking category, I thought Sephora might just be waiting for the exclusivity period with Harlem Perfume Co. and another retailer to run its course. 🤞🏼

@itsfi  Besides Voluspa and Diptyque, I haven’t seen many brands going the refill route. Not yet anyway. It’d be good for more brands to offer refills though. 

Heh, I forgot Nordstrom still has some Harlem Brands items. There aren’t many left there nowadays, so maybe we’ll see the candles at Sephora next year.

@WinglessOne, brands are slowly moving towards making their candles available in refillable formats, or, at least some are making efforts into looking into it. I've seen or have refills from Bond No. 9, Guerlain, Illume, and Trudon, in addition to the houses you've mentioned.

@itsfi Wait is this not at Sephora US?  I know we've had it in Canada for a bit.  It's been quite popular among the local tween set here.  Using my little tween as a gauge... her and her friends love everything they've tried.
