 Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez Soft Pinch Matte Bouncy Blush , coming 3/27/25  Available now? Some shades were available right after I posted, and Rare Beauty Direct is doing early access... I'm so confused, 😂, 4 shades now ..4 shades later.

You know, I'm not excited about these.  I think I'm more intrigued by the new Tower 28 Beauty GetSet® Blur + Set Matte Powder Blush than these.

Heard @CookieGirl1 , but I am curious as to your why.  I feel like at this point whether its powder or cream, everyone here has enough blushes to gift their grandchildren, so is it brand preference vs something else?   Because I find just like balms, the same blush colors are kinda released every time 😂

@danielledanielle I'm honestly not entirely sure why these don't get me excited (and I love a good blush moment as much as the next girl).  Maybe partially the shade selection?  I feel like I like a couple of the T28 shades a bit more (although maybe they aren't really that different than the Rare ones in person...idk) but I don't really have a good solid answer for my reasoning.

@danielledanielle it seems like they do have some brighter, more deep-skin friendly shades. Do any of them catch your eye? That bright fuschia is beautiful. I wouldn't wear it but I wish I would lol

Is fuchsia to you what coral is to me @makeitup305 ? I love the idea of coral, but when I put it on 😲  I definitely want to swatch these, with the newer ones as priority (Alive, Thriving).  I am at MAX blush capacity again, so I have to be careful, 😂.  I am also happy to see Rare keeping consistency with shade names, because I always liked Grateful, I just can't be bothered to tamp it down each time in its liquid form.  Powder, tho 🤔

@danielledanielle I would definitely wear fuschia eyeshadow but on lips and cheeks I'm too intimidated, which is rare. Same with more purple tones. I used to rock a really dark purple lip once upon a time, though.

Two new upcoming shades of the YSL blush. Why they didn't release these with the original release I don't understand.

@danielledanielle I feel you. The shades have to have been in the works for the same amount of time, products don't have such a quick production time. The lighter shades seemed very targeted to the Asian market (the lavender shade in particular) and they just decided to make it seem like it fit all skin tones equally. To drum up controversy or not, both are still messed up.

@danielledanielle  Well now, that’s quite a surprise! Kinda bummed she didn’t include any eyeshadows in her new collection, but I’m happy to see she kept the metallic lipsticks—and now I can use a Rouge Reward to get one. Also very curious about her lip liners, so that’ll go on my wish list too. 

Kinda funny that she changed all product packaging… I mean, the original Liplaq component wasn’t at all what I consider “risqué,” especially compared to a couple other product components. 😂 Eh, whatever helps her sell to the mass market I guess.

@WinglessOne since this is a core line, I wonder if she will seasonally include eyeshadows. I'm thinking she'll do quads to fit into the "core" concept.

Interesting. I wonder if her glow serum will make its way to Sephora. She's rebranded and repackaged her line; I think that makes good sense as she's entering the broader retail marketplace. @danielledanielle

@itsfi I'm just glad to see something that isn't a p---s lipstick. I hope a store near me carries it soon so I can swatch it in person.
