To accommodate a variety of interests, you all are encouraged to pick items to pan that are most suitable to your collections. For some, this might mean focusing on a particular type of product (like lipstick) and for others this may include a larger variety spanning your entire makeup or skincare routine.

Tips and Tricks to Panning/Getting Some Use Out of Your Stash:
Take photos!!When you think you aren’t making a dent in anything look back at those photos, I’m certain you’ll see some changes😃*this is the number one recommendation for everyone, regardless of how long you’ve been panning! Those photos add up and can help you realize progress you might otherwise overlook.
If you goal is to hit pan or use something up entirely, try concentrating your brush/applicator in the same area each time you use it
Multitask your products: eyeshadows as highlighter, lipstick as blush, eyeshadow as brow powder, etc.
Layer eyeshadow to create different colors (this is especially helpful to get use out of shades you’re not fond of).
Have shadows with a ton of fall out?Use water
Watching the progress of others’ can be fun but try not compare your progress to theirs. We all use our makeup differently and have different goals.
Don’t restrict yourself to only using the item(s) you are working on.It’s more than OK to incorporate other items or take a break!
Makeup should be fun….if you begin to dread doing your makeup because you made a commitment to use a product that you now hate, TOSS IT!Do not force yourself to use up something you don’t like.Move on to something else! (This includes excluding particular shades from your goals if focusing on palettes, etc.)
@Nahnom, nah, it shows consistent use. It’s a reminder for me to use my correctors more. I tend to reach for concealer more often for my hyperpigmentation, out of convenience really. My corrector works well and I need to make sure that’s within reach.
QUARTER 1 UPDATE: I’ve made decent progress on my frankenlotion. I started off January with it completely full to the top, got it down to just above the top of the logo before topping it off with my remaining BBW Waikiki Coconut lotion in early February, and now I’ve emptied it down even farther than the first round! I had quite a few days in the first quarter where I was sick and/or not home, so my usage was probably lower than average. I’m hoping to be more consistent and have greater progress in Quarter 2.
I also have used a good chunk of my samples stash, excluding fragrances. At heart I’m quite a simple minimalist for my skincare and haircare routines, so I’m prioritizing using up duplicate or excess products as I’m running out of samples. It will be slow but steady for all the full-sized products, especially new ones.
Well. I did the thing again lol. I topped off my frankenlotion with the last bits I could squeeze out of some almost-empty travel-sized BBW products so that I can put the empty packaging in my Beautycycle box. I swear I’ll be able to cross off at least 10 different body care products off my inventory list by the time I actually empty this whole 12 oz bottle! It’s not quite full to the top this time. I also peeled off the label for ~*aesthetic*~ reasons.
That’s great progress @KeriCherryDee! 👍🏼 Full size bath and body care products take the longest time for me to go through because I’m usually rotating through a few different ones.
I’m here for my March update. I’m still using the Foundcealer from tarte. Still liking it. Still using the tarte Sunset Blur setting powder and I find that it is very light and wears well. The Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Duo is still a favorite bronzer and highlighter. The tarte Amazonian Clay blush is being used but you can’t tell. I can see that it may be a Project Pan item for awhile if I still want to continue it. But anyway I’m finding that I don’t use the lippies, at all. But I’m going to wait one more month before deciding to destash them. And the Born to Run palette is still a favorite, but I’m jumping around with it and using other colors. But I love it.
