**11/30/18: The 2019 Challenge Thread is now live:
Updated 10/13/18: "
It's an all out panning blitz, aka USE IT ALL UP! Finish up those lingering products, hit as much pan as you can, and declutter those things you simply aren't in to. As @sparklekai noted, we need a fresh start to 2019.
Updated 8/2/18: Ten by 10/10 Challenge
Updated 5/31/18: New Mini Challenge
FOUR by July 4th Challenge:
We're adding a mini challenge to the mix. Check your stash and pick at least 4 items that you would like to complete by July 4th. Any product goes and you are more than welcome to pick items in your respective Project Pan. This is a good chance to finish products that have lingered in your collection and it should provide some motivation to persist with other panning projects. Let us know which items you aim to finish by July 4th and of course provide photos if possible.

Hey Everyone! As promised, here is our 2018 Panning Challenge Thread. To accommodate a variety of interests, you all are encouraged to pick items to pan that are most suitable to your collections. For some, this might mean focusing on a particular type of product (like lipstick) and for others this may include a larger variety spanning your entire makeup or skincare routine.
I will be adding information from the 2017 thread over the next few days but to get us started please share the following:

Happy Panning!
You are seriously one of the community's best skin care aficionados @k617 !
I can only share my experience @ElleElleG! I’m definitely no expert here; I prefer to call myself a product junkie ;). But thank you ❤️❤️❤️
Hey @k617, I've been looking for a clay cleanser for days when I wake up with oily skin. I've heard the Pixi cleanser is quite similar to the Sunday Riley Ceramic Slip, do you agree?
Goodluck with your Pan-It Challenge!!
@Aaliaa No...I would disagree. With the Pixi it feels creamier and tingles ever so slightly with the 5% glycolic. For some people that sensation went away with use but it was always there for me. It’s an odd sensation coming from a cleanser. It’s not a cleanser I’d use every day because when I did, I developed tiny red flat topped bumps that went away once I stopped using every day. With the Sunday Riley I can use once, sometimes twice a day with no issues. My skin, my experience. For my skin I prefer a more liquidy cleanser (SR) vs a creamy cleanser (Pixi).
all things considered, I prefer the SR over the Pixi. But my top pick for morning cleansing is my Cerave foaming facial cleanser.
Thanks for a detailed response @k617, it was really helpful.
@k617 So many great skincare items!! I currently use MISSHA Essence and I like it but I’m looking to try something new. How would you compare the Herbivore toner to the MISSHA Essence?
@katkapivarci I think the toner is better for balancing skin while the MISSHA is more hydrating and absorbs quicker. Honestly on my skin I get comparable results and would probably be happy with either. I get the MISSHA for much cheaper (and a bottle lasts way longer) so that one stays in my routine. I’m also not a huge fan of the Herbivore toner scent. It’s very naturally floral but kind of sour...it’s hard to describe.
First pan of the year! Patricia welxer MD skin regenerating serum.
I liked the pore refining and blurring properties that occurred after I applied, but did not see lasting results. Full sized is 150, so this will not be a rebuy. On to the next serum!
Thanks @ElleElleG its Smith and cult 1972, courtesy of my lucky bag!
Products I want to use up in 2018/ hit pan
Oh wow, you’re panning the Minnie blush! I haven’t even taken mine out if the box yet! I wish it was because I was collecting it, lol. Good luck! @mezzotown88
This happened this morning. My soul is happy.
Whoa. You're my idol.
Just an avid reapplyer here. I enjoy putting lip products on probably more than I enjoy the actual products:) @Susubee
