KVD lock it powder for photography

Hey! I’m taking engagement pictures soon and will be doing my own makeup. I use and love the KVD Lock It setting powder in my daily makeup routine, but have never tried it with flash photography. Will this giveme a white flash back? If so, what setting powder is safe to use? Thanks for the advice!

Re: KVD lock it powder for photography

@shebergeland @Maybe you could try a test run with your camera and see if you get flashback. Otherwise I would suggest Charlotte Tilbury flawless powder or Hourglass Veil powder.

Re: KVD lock it powder for photography

@shebergeland Normally flashback is a product of SPF in powders.  I haven't used the KVD in years, but I believe you'd be okay.  Your photographer will likely be able to edit any flashback, but I'd suggest taking a few photo's on a day where you love your makeup with your phone flash on.  This should give you a chance to see if anything you're using will flash back.
