@sister13 To open Sephora links in a browser instead of the app: try “right-clicking“ (click & hold) a link and select “open in new tab” (or “open in background” for Safari). That usually stops iOS from popping apps. Sometimes I also have to do this with Amazon links. I deleted Sephora’s app because I kinda hate it. But iOS put it in “download from cloud” mode because I guess Apple thinks I’m kidding about not wanting the app. So once in a while, a browser link will still pop the app on my phone. 😒 I haven’t done whatever I need to do to stop the app from ghost-loading. I don’t wanna use the app unless I absolutely must to get a specific offer or something. And I hope your (heh, our) login issues are fixed soon!

Every year I have failed miserably at a low/ no buy. This year I am going to try something different. I want to start with limiting myself to 1 beauty purchase a week and eventually get to 1 per month. Hopefully it will help with impulse buying if I have a limit. Right now I’m very well stocked on haircare, skincare, makeup, and body so I shouldn’t have to restock anything until the fall sale.

@queengirly Its really difficult to online. Camera, screen, and lighting settings can alter your complexion and make it difficult to accurately judge your skin tone and shade. The best possible option is to go into a store for an in-person shade match. If you can’t go to a Sephora, try going to your local makeup counter at a department store or drug store and asking for a shade match in the products the carry. Once you know your shade in their offerings, you can use findation(dot)com to find an equivalent in what Sephora offers.
